Can I use a different cushion type of cushion with the DreamWear Full Face Mask?

The DreamWear Full Face Mask features a modular frame, allowing you to switch between different cushion types for comfort and preference. Compatible options include the DreamWear nasal cushion*, and the DreamWear silicone nasal pillow cushion*.

*When using the nasal and nasal pillow cushions, you'll also need the DreamWear Headgear With Arms (sold separately).

How do I clean my DreamWear Full Face Mask?

Weekly cleaning: headgear

Daily cleaning: cushion, frame, elbow, swivel

  1. Disassemble the mask.
  2. Soak all parts in warm water with mild soap for up to ten minutes.
  3. Rinse each part thoroughly under running water, squeezing out excess water from the headgear.
  4. Air dry all parts away from direct sunlight. Lay the headgear and fabric sleeves flat to dry, or you can hang them to dry.

Once a week, you can clean your DreamWear Full Face Mask in the dishwasher. Place all non-fabric parts on the top rack and do not use the drying cycle. Let the mask parts air dry before use.

How often should I replace my DreamWear Full Face Mask?

To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months.  Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.

My DreamWear Full Face Mask is leaking. What should I do?
  1. Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion to inflate and settle comfortably under your nose and around your mouth.
  2. Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
  3. Ensure you're wearing your DreamWear mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide or refer to the fitting guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
  4. Adjust your headgear as necessary.
  5. Try a larger or smaller cushion or frame size.
  6. Replace any worn out mask parts.

If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask."

I don't know what the other user is talking about. I've used the nasal-only version of this mask for a little over 2 years and just switched to this one. Side-sleeping is not a problem with either. The whole point of using this mask is that it allows you to move and not lose the seal or pressure. Air comes down both sides.

There is no more comfortable mask than the DreamWear. I've used several before finally finding as close to perfection as possible.

I find the mask air leakage is inconsistent. I am trying to figure out why some days is 100% fit while other days are 54%. The air leakage has exceeded 2 hours. I am really baffled and do not know what to do. The mask size is what they recommended at the sleep study.

This is the best designed full face ever! It took a few days to get used to but after that it was perfect. This complaint about air being blocked is a non issue. The air travels down both sides of the mask so If one side is blocked it comes down the other side.

In theory the mask is ideal. However the side air tubes are constricted when side sleeping making the mask dangerous to use.

I am returning the mask today.

Great mask in the size configuration I was in need of. Not available anywhere else even my usual medical supplier. Great service as well. Highly recommend.
