The DreamWear Headgear with Arms by Philips Respironics is the new and improved version of the original DreamWear Headgear for the DreamWear nasal and nasal pillow masks. The updated non-slip design features two plastic arms that rest on the sides of the head for greater stability. The arms are connected to an adjustable headgear that rests on the back of the head. This unique design prevents the silicone frame from shifting either forwards or backwards, thereby minimizing mask leaks and enhancing the effectiveness of your sleep apnea therapy.

This new headgear is compatible with the DreamWear Nasal Mask , DreamWear Silicone Nasal Pillow Mask , and the DreamWear Gel Nasal Pillow Mask .

The DreamWear Headgear with Arms is available in one size. It is one-size-fits-all and adjustable.

How do I connect the DreamWear Headgear with Arms to my mask?

Push the the of the right headgear arm (marked with an "R") into the right mask frame loop.
Repeat this process with the left headgear arm (marked with an "L").
If you need to connect the adjustable headgear to the arms, slide the fabric tabs into the slots in the arms and fold back the tabs.
The "L" and "R" arm markers will be visible and facing outwards on the sides of the head when wearing the mask.

Good strap replacement for the N30i

I replaced my Resmed N30i strap for this Philips one because it has a better fit and stays in place

Replaced headband on N30i and P30i (same headband)

Replaced headband on N30i and P30i (same headband). Stays in place much better that the original Resmed headband. Sits lower in the back of the head and does not slide up as easily.

Didn’t live up to the hype

I had read such great reviews about this headgear. As far as positioning it is pretty great— it also fit with using on the ResMes n30i. But comfort is not great. I imagined the arms would be a softer silicon material but they are hard plastic, so not too comfortable.

Great product. I've found a trick to make the velcro not stick to your pillow cases by attaching it on opposite ends of your mask frame.

Newest Design Change Improves Product Every Time

Every time I get a new design starting with the first dream wear mask with what I call the nasal cradle (no more nasal pillows) to the current design, elimination of the chin strap, the mask improves. It just gets better.

I hate these. Go back to the original all fabric design PLEASE.

Whoever designed this obviously never wore them for side sleeping. Had I known the all-fabric version was to be discontinued, I would have stocked up a lot more on them. The hard arm-to-fabric attachment point is uncomfortable for side sleepers. This may push me over the edge to switch brands completely, and that is sad because I really like the rest of the DreamWear fit and comfort overall. For me at least, that makes compliance easier knowing that it wasn't uncomfortable. This version is how you ruin a good product with one bad component design.

Philips Dream Wear Head Strap on a ResMed N30i System HACK

I heard about using the Philips mask head strap on a ResMed N30i Air Touch mask system. This Hack works great! The Philips Dream Wear head gear back of head strap fits the ResMed Air Touch mask system perfectly. It is more comfortable than the original supplied strap and holds the mask system in place way better; resulting in lower mask leak numbers and lower AHI (for me). I highly recommend this hack.

Added a Philips DreamWear CPAP Mask Headgear with Arms (back of head strap) to my ResMed AirTouch N30i Frame a game changer when it comes to back of head comfort and frame movement control. Highly recommended this product hack to anyone looking to improve their ResMed N30i sleep experience. As a side note thank you so much for putting the great training videos on YouTube, sold my on your company, so I had to buy a backup head strap to become part of your RESPSHOP consumer family. Keep up the good work.

I started out with a full face mask, went to several others along the way, and then tried the DreamWear with arms. I've stayed with it for about a year because it's comfortable and does the job. I always get the mask with arms, so that it stays in place.

It has been so nice starting to use this, I don't wake up with sore ears.

Insurance plans absurdly replace "headgear" more slowly than other parts, despite the wear on Velcro making headgear wear our faster. The origin Dreamwear split strap was ill-conceived. This newer version repositions the strap with silicone curved "arms," making it fit better, and the strap absorbs far less water. Kudos to Respshop for getting these parts and selling them at a very reasonable price.

I wanted to say it works better than any other I tried. The clips on the silicone mask fame under the nose are too high for this but I wear It anyway , would help if they made a extra small frame then this would be perfect..
