Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I replace my AirTouch F20 foam cushion?

The AirTouch F20 cushion should be replaced when the memory foam shows signs of wear. For best mask seal, replace the cushion every 30 days.

Prefer less frequent cushion replacements? We recommend the AirFit F20 silicone cushion which has a usage life of up to 3 months or longer.

Customers praised this foam cushion CPAP mask for its "very comfortable" fit and superior seal, especially for beards and high pressures. Many noted it reduces leaks better than silicone alternatives and prevents nose irritation. However, some reported the foam requires more frequent replacement (monthly vs 2-3 months), can tear easily during cleaning, and may still cause leaks or nose soreness if improperly fitted.

Love the touch!

The F20 is the leader in masks for many reasons. Absolutely mandatory equipment for higher pressures. The memory foam touch is very comfy, but can still cause pressure injury on the nose if the top straps are too tight and if the mask is not put high up on the nose right were the forehead and top of the nose meet. Sizing and fitting can be tricky. The bottom of the mask goes into the crease of your chin. Only tighten the top straps very lightly and rely on the lower straps to handle leaks. The only downside is that the memory foam is not washable, requires replacing more often, and can deform/flip while wearing. It is a good idea to have another under the nose mask around to swap to as your nose bridge can need a rest. Everyone should have one of these F20 masks, and in both Touch and Fit. Especially for those who are on high pressures.

Nice mask cushion

A very nice upgrade from the silicone. Time will tell how well it holds up over daily use.

Only one I use

The foam cushion feel soft and comfortable and gives a good seal compared to the silicon one. Only downside, you have to replace it more frequently because of the foam, I had planned replacing every 2.5 month to help save but ill have to change my subscription to every month. But to me, it is worth it. Because it's the only mask/cushion that helps me get a good night sleep.

Great Seal and Comfort — Especially for Beards

The AirTouch F20 Full Face CPAP Mask with foam cushion is an excellent option, especially for people who struggle with mask sealing.
Personally, I’ve used both this version and the silicone one. Both are great, but I’ve noticed fewer leaks with the foam cushion, which makes a big difference in comfort throughout the night.
Additionally, my dad, who has a beard, finds the foam version much more comfortable than the silicone one, as it causes less skin irritation.
Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking to improve both seal and comfort in your CPAP therapy.

Very reliable

Very reliable. The cushion is very comfortable on your face. The pressured air is sealed inside your mask with no leaks. Very little wear after the 30 days life span.

Doesn't seal

For some reason I've been having problems with these cushions in the last year or so. Every one I have bought have the same problem. They just don't seal and I hear air escaping which wakes me up many times while I'm sleeping.

I am sorry to say this replacement is not what I expected

I am sorry to say this replacement is not what I expected. For some reason it doesn't seal to my face an air isescaping all the time, waking me up every time it happens. I have not have a resting night sleep since I started using it. And this is highly unusual. I wonder if this mask isn't defective.

Overall a good choice

Over the years, I’ve experimented with various masks and cushions. The Resmed Air Touch mask and full foam cushion stand out as the best option for sealing, preventing leaks, and ensuring comfort. However, the longevity of some cushions varies. I’m not sure if this is due to the age of the cushion being sent or other unknown factors. Additionally, I’ve occasionally developed a red sore patch on the bridge of my nose. Despite these minor issues, these are the best overall choice for my BiPAP needs.

Great mask for people with beards.

This is the best full face mask i have found. Other full face mask i have tried tend to leak because of my beard, but the memory foam makes this one work like a charm. You do have to be a little more careful when you clean it, but it works so much better than others I’ve tried that it is absolutely worth the extra effort.

Solving the problem of the nose and redness on the top of the nose

After using the silicone mask, a red mark appears on the top of the nose, accompanied by slight pain. This is an excellent alternative, and I recommend it. It's true it's expensive, but it's a great alternative. Don't hesitate.

Memory Foam For Your Nose

Great product and great price. The silicone was hurting my nose so I bought the foam and it's night and day. I highly recommend especially if you want a good night's sleep.

Game Changer

My first mask was a nasal mask but due to sinus issues I sometimes breathed through my mouth, so I needed a full face mask. I started with the AirfFt but it leaked and caused sores on the bridge of my nose. Finding the AirTouch, though a little more expensive, has solved all the problems. Whether on my back or side, the AirSense F20 results in a good fit, no sores and a good night sleep.

Quality

The quality of the product is high, I have tried the knock offs and they only last a very short time. The real deal lasts a very long time and remains comfortable!
