How do I clean my F&P Solo Nasal Cushion?

The Solo Nasal cushion should be cleaned after every use along with the frame, short tube and swivel. It can be hand washed with warm water and mild soap along with the other mask parts.

Gently pull your nasal cushion from the frame to remove.

How often should I replace my Solo Nasal Mask cushion?

F&P app show my size is M but it doesn’t fit.

Cushion vs Pillow

The cushion type works well but tends to not stay in place As Well as pillow type if moving while asleep. I had been using pillow type previously but tried the switch to cushion type just to try out. That said I did use cushion for about a year without much issue just an occasional readjustment thru the night, it was a comfortable fit resting under the hose. After a year it's seal at connecting point wore out and wouldn't stay attached so I pulled out my original pillow type that I luckily kept as back up and low and behold I reallized the difference of it staying in place better than the cushion for me. Both products work and feel well however I'm not bothered by the soft silicon nasal pillows that rest slightly on the edge of my nasal and prefer the placement stability even after movement while asleep.

For me, the perfect mask

The F&P solo cushion is a great mask, finally I've found the best mask for me, a great seal and comfortable to wear, it also helped me to see how much looser I could wear a mask, Because of the adjustable frame you can make minute adjustments, I would make it loose enough to leak slightly, then push it in slightly to make it a tad tighter...no leaks! Looking back I have always worn my masks too tight ( I guess ) it felt like the Solo was too loose but it didn't leak, so now I can wear my other masks a bit looser as well which is more comfortable. Great innovative mask F&P!

I looked at videos on how this mask worked and I have to say that I still do not quite "get it".

I have used a similar style mask in the past and that mask put a lot of pressure on the tip of my nose. It was very painful and I soon gave up trying to make it work.

The Fisher & Paykel Solo Nasal CPAP Mask is amazing!
It does not hurt the tip of my nose and the seal is incredible.
It it very easy to put on and adjust and whether I sleep on my back or side, I get no air leakage.

Is the Solo’s cushions compatible with the Evora?

No it is not. They are mask specific only.

Is the cushion for the solo the same as the evora or did the cushion get a redesign during development? Also when will the nasal pillows cushion be available in the US?

The cushions are not interchangeable between the different masks. We have not heard an official release date for the nasal pillows yet.
