How do I clean my Solo Nasal CPAP Mask?
Daily cleaning: cushion, frame, short tube, swivel
Weekly cleaning: headgear
- Disassemble the mask prior to cleaning. Please refer to the user guide or the myMask app for help with disassembly.
- Wash the mask parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking the parts for more than 10 minutes and don’t extend the headgear while wet.
- Rinse thoroughly and air dry away from direct sunlight.
How often should I replace the Solo Nasal Mask?
To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
My F&P Solo Mask is leaking. What should I do?
- Reposition the cushion under your nose if you experience any leaks.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Solo mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide or the F&P myMask app. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary. Pull the cushion away from your nose to loosen the headgear and push the cushion into your nose to tighten.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.

Worked great first week or two, but has recently been leaking air, even after having tried all 3 sizes of the nasal pillows.

This mask would be a 5 star but when I turn in my sleep I tend to push the mask tighter into my pillow and the auto tightening stays too tight and I wake up with sore nostrils. While that feature is great for some. It isn’t for me.

I was drawn to mask by it's minimalistic design. However, if you are an active/side sleeper, this product isn't for you. It tightens too much during sleep and I spent a lot of time waking up and adjusting it. It left red marks around my nose.

I’ve owned em’ all from full face to nasal mask and pillows..this is the best by far, it’s two masks in one with the interchangeable nasal cradle and pillows…the micro adjustments that you can make by lightly pushing or pulling the mask is a game changer.

The mask is truly simpand it he least invasive mask I’ve ever tried. Very comfortable. Comes off more frequently but has not caused any problems.le

This is by far the best mask I have ever used during over 18 months of trying ResMed P10, N20 and N 30 masks. Those other masks caused nose/nostril bleeds (P10) or bruised the bridge of my nose/nostrils and cheek bones under my eyes. The F&P Solo Nasal is super easy to get on/off and to clean.

No matter which size cushion I use, the fit is terrible. The headgear has no fixed way of adjustment. Just a slip-tension band which does not work. Works loose constantly. And I sleep on one side ALL NIGHT. I don't move. I have extreme Central sleep apnea from a TBI and after trying this for 2 nights, I am exhausted.

I’ve been using the Fisher & Paykel Solo CPAP mask, and it’s been a great addition to my therapy. The AutoFit™ technology ensures a snug fit without constant adjustments, which is a huge plus. The soft silicone cushion feels comfortable against my skin, and the mask is so lightweight that I barely notice it. However, I did find that it doesn’t seal as well at higher pressures. I wanted to love this mask. I love the headgear that is where it ends. I am an active side sleeper and each time I turn to side the hard plastic wings of the mask dig into my cheek no matter what size of cushion I use. Constantly leaks when on my side. If you are a back sleeper you will love this mask but side sleepers buyer beware!

I initially thought I would like this mask but for some reason the cushion was very uncomfortable for my nose.
I tried all three sizes but in all cases there was too much pressure . The small size was the best for me as far as preventing leaks .

I like much about the Fisher & Paykel solo mask except for the nasal cushion which is very noisy. This noise has been described as a vortex occurrence by a number of YouTube reviewers. However, apparently F&P answered this problem by offering the Solo “Pillow”. Unfortunately this interchangeable feature appears only available in Europe and Australia. Please let me know why it’s not available here in the USA now, or is it?
