AirCurve 10 ST VPAP/BIPAP Machine by ResMed

With a spontaneous timed (ST) mode, it guarantees a backup respiratory rate, ensuring you get enough breaths per minute — even when you do not breathe spontaneously.

Designed with a color LCD screen and large dial, the AirCurve 10 ST lets you get the most out of its many convenient features, including:

SmartStart/SmartStop - lets you start therapy by breathing into your mask and stop therapy by removing the mask.
Ramp - increases pressure in increments until it reaches your prescribed settings, helping you fall asleep naturally.
TiControl - helps improve synchronization with the machine for more comfortable breathing.
Mask Fitting - detects the quality of your seal.

Enjoy heated humidification and comfortable nights with the HumidAir humidifier. Pair it with the optional ClimateLineAir heated tube to enable Climate Control mode, which automatically adjusts humidity levels to prevent rainout.

Downloading your sleep therapy data is easy with the included SD card. The modem version of the AirCurve 10 ST can also wirelessly submit your data to your doctor for worry-free compliance reporting.

What is the difference between a VPAP and a VPAP ST?

A VPAP ST or BiPAP ST is a spontaneous timed BiPAP machine that allows for a backup breathing rate setting. Users can breathe naturally while using the machine, and if they don't initiate a breath, the device will deliver one based on the preset backup rate.

In contrast, a VPAP or BiPAP machine lacks a backup breathing rate setting. It only delivers a breath when you start to breathe.

If your BiPAP prescription has a backup breathing rate, you must use a machine with a ST (spontaneous timed) and/or T (timed) mode.

Can I use the AirCurve 10 ST on the plane?

The AirCurve 10 ST is FAA-approved for in-flight use. We recommend packing it as a carry-on and bringing a copy of the FAA compliance letter.

Please note that airline policies regarding in-flight CPAP/BiPAP use can vary. Always familiarize yourself with your airline’s on-board CPAP/BiPAP use policy prior to traveling.

How do I use oxygen with the AirCurve 10 VPAP machine?

You can use up to 15 L/min of supplemental oxygen. Oxygen can be added directly into the tubing with the ClimateLineAir 10 Oxy Heated Tubing.

Can I use the AirCurve 10 ST without the humidifier?

While the AirCurve 10 ST VPAP features an integrated humidifier that can’t be removed, the humidifier can be disabled by setting the humidity level to “Off”.

You can also replace the water chamber with the Air10 Side Cover, which not only automatically disables the humidifier but also reduces the size of the machine.

Is the ResMed myAir app required to use the AirCurve 10 ST BiPAP machine?

The myAir app complements your sleep therapy by providing resources to help you stay on track with treatment. It also allows you to track your progress.

However, the AirCurve 10 ST is fully functional by itself and the app is not required to use the machine.

How do I clean and maintain my AirCurve 10 ST?

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth on an as needed basis. Empty the water chamber at least every 2 days. Once a week, wash the water tub, outlet connector and tubing as follows:

Wash the components with mild soap and warm water. Do not use water that is hotter than 131°F (55°C).
Rinse each part thoroughly.
Air dry away from direct sunlight.

What filters are compatible with the AirCurve 10 ST VPAP machine?

The AirCurve 10 ST uses Air10 Disposable Filters and Air10 Hypoallergenic Filters. Only one type of filter can be used in the device at a time.

What tubing can I use with the AirCurve 10 ST VPAP machine?

The AirCurve 10 ST is compatible with the following types of tubing:

Heated tubing: ClimateLineAir 10 Heated Tubing and ClimateLineAir 10 Oxy Heated Tubing

Non heated tubing: any standard or slim tubing

Can the AirCurve 10 ST send data to my doctor?

The AirCurve 10 ST sends data to your doctor using its built-in cellular modem. This also lets your doctor make changes to your machine settings remotely.

The AirCurve 10 ST does not send data via Wi-Fi.

How do I view my sleep data without using the myAir app?

You can see your nightly data on the device's home screen each morning. Selecting the Sleep Report menu on the home screen gives you access to more data.

To access comprehensive therapy data within the Sleep Report menu, ensure that “Essentials Plus” is selected on the device. “Essentials Plus” can be enabled within the Clinical Menu by selecting Settings, followed by Essentials, and finally by selecting Plus.

Q. Is it possible to use continuous O2 @ 2 L/min with the AirCurve 110/ST?

A. Yes, it's possible. You can connect your oxygen device to the CPAP tubing using the oxygen enrichment adapter.

Q. Does Medicare pay for this with a prescription? I am currently using a rented Trilogy 100 which is now on recall. I don't want those off-gasses entering my lungs. I have respiratory insufficiency and need support while lying down.
