ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal CPAP Mask
Moving during your sleep is unavoidable, but it doesn’t have to affect your sleep apnea treatment. ResMed’s very first top-of-head CPAP mask, the AirFit N30i Nasal Mask, allows for the utmost freedom of movement by preventing tube drag and leaks.
Finding the right fit is easy. Each starter pack includes three N30i cushion sizes (small, medium, small-wide) and your choice of a small or medium frame for personalized comfort. Plus, the one-size-fits-all headgear with adjustable Velcro tabs ensures a snug fit throughout the night.
With a self-adjusting, open-faced frame and a quieter and softer under-the-nose cushion, the AirFit N30i is optimized for an enhanced sleeping experience.
Compatible with CPAP and BiPAP machines from all manufacturers. AirMini users will need an AirMini Tubing Connector Adapter and a non-heated hose to use the mask.
How do I clean the AirFit N30i Nasal Mask?
Weekly cleaning: headgear, swivel elbow, frame
Daily cleaning: cushion
- Disassemble the mask.
- Soak all parts in warm water with mild soap for up to ten minutes.
- Scrub the vent holes on the elbow and nasal cushion with a soft bristle brush.
- Rinse each part thoroughly under running water, squeezing out excess water from the headgear and frame sleeves.
- Air-dry all parts away from direct sunlight.
Can I use a different type of cushion with the AirFit N30i Nasal Mask?
Yes, the AirFit N30i is also compatible with the AirFit P30i nasal pillow cushion. This allows you to choose between a nasal mask and a nasal pillow design for maximum comfort.
Is the AirFit N30i a good choice for users with facial hair?
The AirFit N30i generally works well with most types of facial hair. The mask's minimal contact design reduces the impact of facial hair on the seal. However, keeping facial hair trimmed will always help improve comfort and fit for any mask.
If leaks persist, try switching out the N30i nasal cushion with the P30i nasal pillow cushion which minimizes contact with the upper lip.
How does the AirFit N30i compare with other ResMed CPAP masks?

How often should I replace the AirFit N30i Nasal Mask?
To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
My AirFit N30i mask is leaking. What should I do?
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably under your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your AirFit N30i mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.
