Amara View CPAP Full Face Mask by Philips Respironics

Say goodbye to red marks and irritation on your nose bridge. The Philips Respironics Amara View Full Face Mask features a cushion that gently fits under the nose instead of over it.

Combining innovation with comfort, the mask offers an excellent seal while covering less of your face, so you can enjoy a clear line of sight.

With multiple straps and magnetic clips*, the headgear evenly distributes pressure around the head and provides a custom fit without the need for repeated adjustments.

Move freely without accidentally dislodging your mask. The short tubing and elbow with a 360° rotating swivel keep your CPAP hose from tangling as you toss and turn.

The elbow also features a quick-release connector, so you can easily detach the mask from the tube each time you get up at night.

*Users with metallic medical implants can replace the magnetic headgear clips with non-magnetic clips (sold separately).

How do I clean my Amara View Full Face Mask?

Weekly cleaning: headgear

Daily cleaning: cushion, frame, elbow, swivel

  1. Disassemble the mask.
  2. Soak all parts in warm water with mild soap for up to ten minutes.
  3. Rinse each part thoroughly under running water, squeezing out excess water from the headgear.
  4. Air dry all parts away from direct sunlight. Lay the headgear flat to dry, or you can hang to dry.
How often should I replace my Amara View Full Face Mask?

To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.

My Amara View Full Face Mask is leaking. What should I do?
  1. Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion to inflate and settle comfortably under your nose and around your mouth.
  2. Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
  3. Ensure you're wearing your Amara View mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide or refer to the fitting guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
  4. Adjust your headgear as necessary.
  5. Try a larger or smaller cushion or headgear size.
  6. Replace any worn out mask parts.

If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.

I am very pleased with this mask fits very nicely under nose and around mouth and no leaks when adjusted properly.
One of the best masks I have owned in the 9 year period I have been using c-pap equipment.. Note it dose dry you out with no humidifier on but comfort more than makes up for it.. I recommend this mask too anyone struggling to find a good fit and comfort....

I normally use the comfort Blue Jel mask. I do have problems, at times, with soreness on the bridge of my nose. I have been trying different solutions to provide a break from the Blue Jel. The nose pillows did not work. I have a bipap and it seemed as though the volume of air was too low. This mask seems to have solved my problem. I cannot use it all the time, as I am a very restless sleeper and I need a rugged mask. If you sleep on your ban=ck all the time, this would be a very comfortable mask.

This is the best mask I have ever used. Very comfortable fit and mnimal air leaks. Unlike other full face masks it does not sit on the bridge of your nose that block part of your vision while wearing it making me feel very claustrophobic. I do advise replacing the cushion every 3 to 4 months from wear and tear.

This mask is far better than any other mask I have used, a bit pricey but worth it.

This was a great choice of mask for me. Straps are worn off quite easily and is a negative aspect but overall it is a great product.
