Quattro Air Full Face CPAP Mask by ResMed
With the ResMed Quattro Air Full Face Mask, you can have the reliability of the Quattro masks with less bulk and more comfort. Made up of only four parts, this full face mask is 45% lighter and easier to maintain than older models.
Thanks to the innovative Flex-wing forehead support, the mask has no forehead pads weighing it down or leaving marks on your face. The headgear is made of soft rolled-edge fabric, preventing skin irritation and improving comfort.
With the headgear’s multiple adjustment points and the Spring Air cushion’s dual-wall design, the Quattro Air offers a gentle yet stable seal for effective CPAP therapy.
Featuring circular diffused vents, the mask reduces airflow noise and maintains a quiet bedroom environment.
It also has an elbow with squeeze tabs, letting you easily detach the tube, and a swivel, which keeps the tube out of the way as you move during sleep.
Compatible with CPAP and BiPAP machines from all manufacturers. AirMini users will need an AirMini Tubing Connector Adapter and a non-heated hose to use this mask.
How do I clean my Quattro Air Full Face Mask?
Weekly cleaning: headgear
Daily cleaning: frame, cushion, elbow
- Disassemble the mask.
- Soak the mask parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking for more than 10 minutes.
- Scrub the vent holes on the elbow with a soft bristle brush.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water, squeezing out excess water from the headgear.
- Lay parts out to air dry away from direct sunlight.
How often should I replace my Quattro Air Full Face Mask?
To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
My Quattro Air CPAP mask is leaking. What should I do?
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose and mouth.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Quattro Air mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion or headgear size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.
