This machine only lasted about a year

This machine only lasted about a year and quit working. I only used it for travel maybe 2 days a month, on average. It was a lot of money to not last very long. I was super disappointed.

I’ve used it to help supplement my source of air when exercising

I’ve used it to help supplement my source of air when exercising. I’ve been using it primarily in spin classes and there’s been a big improvement in less shortness of breath and time it takes to recover. I realize this procedure is out of the ordinary, but it’s what works for me. It’s a great little machine.

Too loud

Machine was too loud for sleeping. Lack of humidification was also a problem. Sent back rental early and lugged my regular CPAP on my trip.

I ordered this device for rental so I could try it out before purchasing one. Since they are so expensive and I had ordered another travel cpap from resmed I did not like I didn't want to get stuck with another device. The process was painless and very fast. There appeared to be something wrong with the first device (I have since found out from Transcend customer service that this device does not work with their desktop app and you must use the phone app so there really was not anything wrong) and RespShop was right on it. they credited me and ordered me another one right away! I was impressed. I do like the device and once I get my money from Philips for their recalled dream station go I will purchase this one.

I have rented the Transcend Micro Auto Travel CPAP machine to test. It's wonderful! Very compact, simple to use, and isn't loud at all. In fact I rented it because my Resmed 10 was making a grinding noise after only 2.5 years of use the the Transcend is nearly as quiet as the 10 was new. I can carry it in a purse and not have to worry about traveling with a large bag. So very pleased that I plan to purchase it.

Hello. I have two questions. The first is, everywhere else I’ve looked. I’ve had to find a doctor‘s prescription as part of the rental ordering process. I haven’t finished the order so I don’t know if that’s going to be requested, but I don’t want to finish the order, because of my second question. So, first question, do I have to send you a prescription. second question, I’m not traveling until August 31 of this year. I don’t want to pay for two months. Do I have to wait to order until closer to the trip or on the order process? Can I specify the date I would like it delivered (in other words, Aug 15)? Thanks for your response. Jon Dwyer.

Thanks for your questions!

Yes, a valid CPAP prescription is required for all CPAP machine rentals.

As for the timing, if you're not traveling until August 31, we recommend placing your order closer to your trip so you aren't paying for extra rental time. Ordering in early to mid August is usually a good idea.

do i need to purchase traveler adapter plugs

Hi! The Transcend Micro rental includes a standard power supply. If you're traveling internationally, you may need a travel plug adapter depending on the country you're visiting, but you won't need a voltage converter, as the power supply supports 100 to 240V AC. If you let us know where you're traveling, we'd be happy to recommend the correct plug adapter! 😊

Can this unit be powered using USB??

Hi Randall!

The Transcend Micro Auto Travel CPAP cannot be powered by a standard USB port. However, it can run on USB-C Power Delivery if you use a compatible USB-C PD power source that meets the required voltage and wattage, or the official Transcend battery or DC power accessories.

Regular USB-A phone chargers or basic USB ports will not provide enough power to run the unit safely.
