Amara View Full Face Mask
Due to the Amara View's under-the-nose design it will not leave an abrasion on the bridge of your nose. the Amara View was designed to be sleek and forgo any type of forehead support making it a small and light sleep apnea mask.
If you wear glasses, watch TV, use a tablet/computer or even read before falling asleep you can rejoice! Your field of vision is not compromised as it only takes up a small portion of your face allowing the user to enjoy the "view" with the Amara View.
Comfortable Silicone Full Face Amara View Cushion
With comfort in mind, the Amara mask cushion will rest comfortably under your nose and on your face, while still providing a great seal without any air leaks. The nostril opening allows pressure into the nostril without causing irritation like a traditional nasal pillow would.
If you are unsure what cushion size you need, the Respironics Amara View comes in a fitPack option. It will come with 3 different size cushions, so you will be able to find out which cushion size gives you the best fit. This FitPack option is recommended if you are unsure of your size. All options, whether you chose the fitPack or not will include both the mask and headgear.
Amara View Headgear is Adjustable
Having a four-point adjustment around the mask and a fifth adjustment on the crown of your head makes the Amara View headgear quite innovative. It rests on your head helping to reduce discomfort during CPAP therapy. The head gear was designed to promote a secure fit and evenly apply pressure with different adjustments available. The crown strap crosses over the top thus creating a halo shape behind the user's head.
Headgear Clips with a Quick Release
We all go through the difficulties in the middle of the night where we have to take off our CPAP Mask. With the quick release clips, you will no longer have to experience that difficulty. Simply rotate the clip and lift it from your face. Afraid you might apply too much pressure and break a clip? You can wear the Respironics Amara View mask even without the use of the clips making it easy to re-apply the mask and fall back asleep swiftly.
The hose on the Amara View is placed at the front of the face. This makes it a great mask for a side sleeper and people who move around a lot in their sleep. It is cost effective and ergonomic.
Universal Mask Frame
You've voiced your concern and Philips Respironics has listened. Say goodbye to buying multiple masks! The Philips Respironics Amara View features a universal mask frame so you will know that any cushion size will fit properly. This is a huge step forward as it will be more convenient for the user to simply replace the cushion with any size needed. No more having to re-purchase a complete mask set just because the cushion needs to be replaced.

Good product for the price. Excellent customer service
This is NOT a good mask. I have found it impossible to make a seal and it subsequently "leaks like a sieve." After many tries, I have switched back to the Philips Respironics Dreamwear full face mask. It makes a great seal. I switched to the Amara because I hoped to avoid the airway tubes of the Dreamwear. I won't switch again.

Susan with Respshop
Received this mask some 5 days ago. The mask does not fit well and leaks around the corners of my mouth. Continued to adjust straps to stop leaks and reached a point where it did but the fitment is terribly tight and applies a lot of pressure on the face. The worst part is that I've yet to wake up with the mask still on. The lower magnetic straps Have popped loose every night so far and I find the mask laying on the floor every morning.
Not a very comfortable fit.

This was the best mask that we have bought for my husband. He likes this one over his old one. The best part it doesnt have to be over his nose at all. And the head band part of it is more comfortable than the other one he has. I recommend this mask to anyone that has to use a cpap machine.
This is the most comfortable mask I have worn in the 8 years I have been using a cpap east to put on and take off no issues what so ever love it
Good face mask my only problems with it is that the air blows in my eyes and gives me dry eyes and sometimes my nose underneath is a little sore from the band inside.
Very good fit for mouth breathing without covering my whole face or field of view (typing thus while it's on). Super quiet too! Great customer service!
The picture shows the one i currently use and is the only type i like but im a big tall man with a xl nose and wide nostrils. I need an extra large size in this style which i am unable to find anywhere. Can someone tell me where to find an xl in this style only.
The Amara View does not come in an XL BUT a very similar mask is the DreamWear full face mask that has a Med/Wide cushion which will make the mask a bit bigger. I hope this is helpful.
After several years I underwent another sleep study. This mask was determined to be the best for me. However, I have developed a pressure sore at the base of my nose due to the silicone seal having somewhat sharp edges. The placement of the nasal passage holes don't align with my anatomy requiring me to position the mask in a way that exacerbates the sharp silicone edge irritation.
I do not like the placement of the vents. They blow upward sufficiently enough to blow into my eyes, causing dry eyes. a better placement would be fo the vents to be on the sides, perhaps.
I have tried many full face and nasal masks over 15+ years. This mask fits amazingly with no leaks and no over tightening which used to mark my face. I highly recommend it.
This was a great choice of mask for me. Straps are worn off quite easily and is a negative aspect but overall it is a great product.
I have used a CPAP for 25 years and this is the worst mask I have tried to used!
This mask is far better than any other mask I have used, a bit pricey but worth it.
This is the best mask I have ever used. Very comfortable fit and mnimal air leaks. Unlike other full face masks it does not sit on the bridge of your nose that block part of your vision while wearing it making me feel very claustrophobic. I do advise replacing the cushion every 3 to 4 months from wear and tear.
I normally use the comfort Blue Jel mask. I do have problems, at times, with soreness on the bridge of my nose. I have been trying different solutions to provide a break from the Blue Jel. The nose pillows did not work. I have a bipap and it seemed as though the volume of air was too low. This mask seems to have solved my problem. I cannot use it all the time, as I am a very restless sleeper and I need a rugged mask. If you sleep on your ban=ck all the time, this would be a very comfortable mask.
I am very pleased with this mask fits very nicely under nose and around mouth and no leaks when adjusted properly.
One of the best masks I have owned in the 9 year period I have been using c-pap equipment.. Note it dose dry you out with no humidifier on but comfort more than makes up for it.. I recommend this mask too anyone struggling to find a good fit and comfort....
