A highly versatile device in the industry, the Philips Respironics System One REMstar BiPAP ST Machine, is the device of choice for patients needing Non-Invasive Ventilatory Support. Possessing some of the best features in the Philips Respironic line, the PR System One REMstar BiPAP ST Machine represents excellence in comfort and therapy among devices in its class.

Optional System One Humidity Control

The uniquely constructed water chamber and humidifier represent advancements in preventing rainout and water damage. The innovative feature, System One Humidity Control technology intelligently assesses room temperature and current patient airflow reaching relative humidity in the mask. The versatile feature also provides 5 levels of relative humidity for optimum customization and versatility. Well placed humidity sensors constructed within the device constantly monitor humidity and automatically adapts to changes in order to prevent condensation from occurring in the tube.

Another breakthrough feature of the device is the Dry Box technology that effectively reduces potential water damage to the inner electronics of the CPAP. With several well constructed designs and redesigns, in the humidifier, water is prevented from leaking out of the chamber. The air outlet port is now on the top to center delivery, and minimize water displacement around the outlet hole. A one way valve has also been conveniently added between the device and humidifier. Finally, water that now leaks from the device past the valve, gets trapped inside the Dry Box, ensuring that water does not leak into the device, prolonging the lifespan of your investment. With System One and Dry Box Technology working together, you are guaranteed a spill free device. Even if the chamber is filled to the brim, shaken, or turned upside down, water will not leak into the device.

Digital Auto-Trak Algorithm and Bi-Flex Technology

The innovative Digital Auto-Trak Sensitivity is a proprietary technology that represents the main control of the Flex Technology. The patented algorithm was developed to track respiratory patterns and respond to any pressure changes, and the Auto Trak system evaluates variable triggers and cycle thresholds and makes automatic corresponding adjustments, providing optimum sleep therapy. The continuously active auto trak components ensuring that the device automatically adjusts when changes in sleep are detected for optimum comfort and therapy. The proprietary Bi-Flex Technology adds to the effectivity of therapy and comfort by tracking each breath and provides pressure relief at three critical points in the breathing cycle, gradually reducing pressure in half centimeter increments in the transition phase of inhalation and exhalation. The Bi-Flex can also be conveniently set up to 1.5 cm of water pressure for maximum comfort.

The PR BiPAP Series feature the Bi-Flex as a standard feature and is turned on by activating the BiLevel and Auto Bi-Level Mode or Spontaneous Mode. The Bi-Flex mode can also be overridden by the PR BiPap ST mode and adjusts to breathing patterns in the same way, increasing pressure as you begin to inhale and decreases pressure when you begin to exhale. The Spontaneous Timed Mode conveniently lets users adjust the device's Breathe Rate and Rise Time, to allow the machine to determine the appropriate timing in switching from exhalation to inhalation. The Rise Comfort is the time for the device to shift from EPAP to IPAP and can be adjusted in 150, 200, 300, 400msec.

Now take note that the PR BiPAP ST is programmed with the following modes; Spontaneous -This mode adjusts to users requirements by increasing the pressure on inhalation and decreasing it upon exhalation. The unit will not actively start a breathing cycle if the user is not inhaling. Spontaneous Timed - The ST Mode functions like the S mode. However, the ST Mode actively initiates a breath then starts the IPAP. With the IPAP activated, the device then takes control of IPA duration and lowers pressure to EPAP in a set time.

Convenient Encore Data Management and Reporting

With on board memory and standard SD Memory card installed on the BiPaP, file and data viewing and sharing is as convenient as ever. Both for the user and healthcare, provider. The Encore Pro 2 Software effectively tracks therapy progress via reports. It provides patient flow and event reports so that users and healthcare providers can see a detailed weekly per breath basis weekly breakdown. Colors are also used to identify patient data and specific events for ease of interpretation.

Return On Warranty Issues or Mask Assurance Purchase Only.
