How do I clean the Air11 air outlet?
Hand wash the air outlet with warm water* and mild detergent or in a solution of 1 part vinegar to 9 parts water. Rinse thoroughly under running water and air dry away from direct sunlight. The air outlet can also be washed in the dishwasher.
*Do not wash in water hotter than 131ºF (55ºC).
How do I remove the Air11 air outlet?
- Remove the Air 11 HumidAir Water Tub from your CPAP or BiPAP.
- Locate the gray air outlet release tab inside the space where the water tub was.
- Press the release tab with your index finger while pulling the air outlet connector out the back of the machine with your other hand.
How do I insert the Air11 air outlet?
- Hold the air outlet connector with the seal pointing towards the left and the release tab facing forward.
- Insert the outlet connector into your AirSense/AirCurve 11 from the back of the machine. It will click into place.

This part probably is the most overlooked part of my AirSense 11, that is user serviceable.
Very easy to remove from then reinstall in the machine for routine inspection and cleaning.
Literally a snap. The main body of this part probably would be acceptable for years under normal usage; however there is a seal and that’s where a potential leak might occur.
I have had my AirSense 11 for nine months now and no leaks have occurred but I just wanted to replace this part with my new water chamber to avoid experiencing any issues with my machine.

The tank on my airsence 11 does not line up with the outlet. When I reseat it, it counts as a mask off. Is that correct?

Benefits - Heated tubing verses non heated tubing?
Heated tubing sustains the humidity level set at the machine and doesn't let it dissipate before reaching the end user. Heated tubing prevents rain out in the tube. Less moisture equates less bacteria so healthier therapy.

I use a regular tube no heat do I still have to wash it as often?
It is recommended that you wash your standard tubing weekly in soap and water, rinse and air dry.

Hello, As per the manufacturer's recommendations, Clean Weekly. Wash the outlet connector in warm water using a mild dishwashing liquid OR in a solution with a ratio of 1 part vinegar and 9 parts water at room temperature. Components should not be washed in temperatures higher than 131ºF (55ºC). The humidifier tub and outlet connector may be washed in a dishwasher.
