How do I remove and insert the vent ring into my F40 cushion?

Removal:

With the front of the cushion facing you, pull the vent ring out of one side of the cushion.
Gently pull the vent ring free from the cushion.

Insertion:

With the front of the cushion facing you, align the vent ring against the cushion opening.
Push the vent ring into the opening, pulling the cushion up and over the vent ring groove to ensure the vent ring sits in the cushion.

How do I clean my AirFit F40 cushion?

Clean your cushion, along with the vent ring, short tubing, and elbow after every use.

Disassemble the mask. Please refer to your AirFit F40 User Manual for complete instructions.
Soak the mask parts in warm water with mild soap. Shake the parts in the water and use a soft bristle brush to gently clean the holes in the vent ring.
Rinse the mask parts well under running water and air dry away from direct sunlight.

How often should I replace my AirFit F40 cushion?

You well love this full face, CPAP mask, cushion, especially if you snore, it seals so well.

Comfortable but not frustration-free

It's a comfortable mask, once I get it positioned properly. When I go to bed, I have to check the leak level, and then sometimes remove it once or twice and reposition before I get an acceptable reading. It's annoying, but the mask itself is comfortable and works well for me.

This full face mask cushion really works well for me. My doctor recommended it and I never looked back. It's very comfortable and seems to stay secure all night even when sleeping on my side. I also found it doesn't leak like my last mask did and I have uninterrupted sleep.

I need a large headgear with a large mask, but the f40 bundles do not have this as an option, so I was going to buy the mask and headgear separate. The problem is I do not get the small tubing + filter to connect to the CPAP. Is there a way for my needs to be met?
