As a woman, I was a little concerned with some of the comments saying that the chin strap was too large, but I find that it fits quite well. You put the CPAP mask and headgear on first, THEN the chinstrap assembly--the strap across the back of your head is very adjustable. I haven't been wearing it long, but I've experienced a vast improvement in my drooling (it's a lot less) and morning dry mouth. I'll definitely stick with the chin strap.

this strap works perfectly to decrease snoring. Other style straps only pull the chin backwards, this one pulls the chin upward to keep the mouth closed. I only buy this strap.

How do I fit the Respironics Premium Chin Strap?
  1. Undo the Velcro at the top of the head.
  2. Place the chin cup under the chin.
  3. Close the Velcro on the top of the head, adjust the tightness as needed.
  4. For added stability, attach the thinner support strap. Slide the support strap into the split section on the side of the chinstrap (only one side of the chinstrap has a split) and wrap it around the back of your head. The support strap should sit above your ears.
  5. Adjust the support strap as needed.
