This pollen filter captures large particles such as dust, pollen and pet dander. For an extra layer of protection against smaller allergens such as smoke particles, use the pollen filter with the DreamStation Ultra-Fine Filter.

Wash the filter every 2 weeks or whenever there is noticeable buildup. Replace the filter every 6 months for optimal performance. More frequent replacement may be needed depending on household air quality.

Note: The filter cannot be removed from inside the blue plastic casing.

Reusable Pollen Filters: I ordered extras of these filters to have on hand. Since we have two identical machines in our household now. It says that you can wash these filters but, I do not recommend it. Would recommend to buy these filters and will order again.
