I have been a CPAP user for over 20 years. I remember thinking CPAP therapy cannot be real! Oh, it is real alright and so is stopping breathing in your sleep. My friends tell me I should go into the field as I am such an advocate about people getting a formal sleep study when they suffer from symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea. CPAP therapy has literally changed my life. I was barely functioning prior to being diagnosed. I would literally fall asleep behind the wheel at a stop sign! I did not know what was happening to me.
