Philips | Deluxe Chin Strap for CPAP Therapy

It ain't pretty, but it works far better and is much cheaper than those skimz look alikes. A therapist recommended this chin strap when I asked what would work best with my extreme overbite. My hypopnic events went down to low single digits immediately. I have never ripped it off in my sleep. It is extremely comfortable, very adjustable, compact, and easy to care for. What more could you want?

I am grateful that I purchased this Chin Strap. Because I have problems with my tongue going back to close my throat, this stap brought by leaking to 0.

I went thru’ 5 other chinstraps that didn’t work, because they focused on holding your chin up, this one fits under your chin all the way back to your Adam’s apple…it keeps your tongue from sliding back by upward pressure…since using this strap I have had no issues at all of air leaks from my mouth

I was given one of the Philips Deluxe straps whenI picked up my CPAP/APAP machine. It worked great until I accidentally left it in a hotel. at the time I did not know the name/brand of the strap I was originally given so I ordered a “look-a-like” on amazon. when I received the look-a-like it was not the same material as the Philips. the look-a-like was such cheap fabric that my head started sweating the moment I put it on. The forehead and back of head straps were ungodly uncomfortable, like the roughest nylon you can imagine and the velcro was such industrial strength that it took two hands to uncouple it. I was shocked that the look-a-like had any positive reviews…and for those that gave the amazon imitation a good review…I pity them because this style chin strap is fantastic if it’s made with comfortable materials like this Philips version.

Although this chin strap does exactly what it is intended to do for me it was to secure for my jaw and ears.

Strap did not work as expected

The strap is of good quality and works and perfomrs as designed. My only issue is the pressure it puts on my ears is unbearable for me, that is why it got a 4 star.

Of the many chin straps I've tried, this one is the most comfortable. It gets 4 instead of 5 stars only because the strap is slightly shorter than I'd like, and of course it's not as comfortable as no chin strap, but it does keep me from breathing through my mouth.

Works fine, can be a bit too snug when using with CPAP.

The strip has cut the leak almost in half. it is so comfortable that I don’t even know it is on.

I had tried 4 other chin straps and all would hold my chin in place but did not solve the problem of tongue drop which allows air to enter your mouth and out ..using mouth tape would just give me chipmunk cheeks and wake me up. This chin straps in unique in that it holds your jaw straight up and not push your jaw backwards lie most..the most important thing is it gently holds your jaw straight up and at the same time apply gentle pressure to the soft tissue under your chin to hold the tongue firmly against the roof of your mouth, I have not had one episode of mouth leak since wearing this two months ago,

This is the only "chin strap" that really works, it's more of a jaw strap because it pushes the jaw up and not back like most chin strap, it puts firm but gentle pressure on the soft tissue under your chin which keeps the tongue properly pushed up to the roof of your mouth, that is the key to stopping mouth leak.

This is best chin strap for use with CPAP pillows. Helps keep mouth shut when not using a full face CPAP. It is wide and comfortable. The fabric is soft as compared to similar chin straps that irritate the facial skin. Recommend.

I have been using this chin strap for 10 years. I have tried other straps but always return to this particular one. Works for me.

They aren’t the same quality (decreased quality) as I used to buy, so disappointing. But I am sure you are meeting your goal of making more money. I don’t know if I will buy again.

Just as described

Bought another model that was horribly represented and they don't refund. Even though its sizes wrong. They gave me points to use. So had to purchase another model of course more.money and ridiculously overpriced shipping. Which defaults to the most expensive method hoping you won't notice. But got my new chin strap and it's so big it chokes me cutting into my neck when I lay down. So I have to move it forward which then causes indentarions and creases all over my face. Will never waste my money at this knock off garbage retailer again.

I do not use a CPAP machine, but use the strap, along with tapping my mouth, to force nose breathing. The strap applies vertical pressure on my chin and not backward pressure. It does not cover my ears which is much more comfortable and permits wearing reading glasses prior to going to sleep. Unfortunately the strap is out-of-stock at Respshop.

I found that this type of chin strap is much more comfortable than my old one due to the width of the strap itself - my old chin strap had a chin cup and then thin straps that wrapped around my head. It is easy to put on and remove this strap and well worth the price. I intend to purchase another one for a backup (and travel).

Satisfied customer! Hoping that this chin strap will solve the problem to my being as a OPEN MOUTH breather while I sleep, I am pleased to say that this chin strap followed through. Such a comfortable chin strap and so simple and adjustable I was able to make and find the correct fittings for my big head. The Velcro makes it so convenient and the elastic strap makes it a nice snug comfy fit. Worth it.
