Fisher & Paykel | Nova Nasal Mask

This is my favorite mask to wear. I do get some acceptable leak from it sometimes but it's because I'm a very active sleeper. I'm all over the place.
In return I get very low ahi of less than 1 some nights with a mask that's extremely comfortable to wear. That cushion is really soft.
Just remember to wear it loosely for best results.

Found a new solution, changin from an F&P Evora Nasal mask to the new Nova Nasal. Getting the FitPack helped me to work on whether the Large or Medium cushion worked best (turns out the Medium has much less leakage during side sleeping for me). The headgear allows a fair amount of adjustment, and the integrated hose onto the headgear seems to work well. I chose to use the mask without the top of head connection.

Very pleased so far, and will continue to review my sleep results for best experience.

So I have been using Cpap since 2014, and have used a full face Mirage Quatro medium the whole time. Recently I was having mask leakage problems, so after trying to solve those issues with some good results, I started to look around for a different mask. After watching Youtube reviews, I decided to purchase the F&P Nova Nasal mask, from RespShop. RespShop was very user friendly, and they gave me a good first buyer discount. The F&P Nova Nasal mask is a very good quality built mask, and the nasal cushion itself, (I needed the large size cushion) is substantially, more firm, not flimsy, and more comfortable, than the mask I was using. The head gear was also less intrusive on my face. The mask fit well. and did not leak, but after 4 hours the first night I woke up, with a very dry mouth, and nose. I had to switch back to my old mask. Everybody's sleep and breathing needs are different, and because of my 12years of previous experience, this one did not work for me. I did not think I was much of a mouth breather when sleeping, but I must be somewhat. I am finding that the F& P Vitera full face mask is a much better alternative for me, and that the medium cushion is better quality than my old one, and the headgear is less intrusive. F& P makes some good quality masks, and RespShop is a great company to work with.

When it comes to a pillow mask, it's probably the best option. Lowest profile so great for side sleeping, relatively quiet, super comfortable in/on the nose as it's light. However, it also taught me I really do hate pillow style. But if that is your preferred style this might be the most ideal mask then.

I love the headgear…. I have three other F&P masks and they all are fantastic, but for some reason I couldn't get this one (tight or loose) to stop leaking at the top of the mask, right into my eyes, 3 out of four isn't a bad ratio

I’ve tried a lot of CPAP masks over the last several months—at least eight different models—and the Fisher & Paykel Nova stands out as the best by far. It’s easily the most comfortable mask I’ve used, even for a full night’s sleep. The fit feels natural without putting pressure in the wrong places, which makes a huge difference.

One of the biggest highlights is the excellent leak control. Once it’s adjusted, it stays sealed without constant readjustment, even if you move around during the night. That reliability alone makes it worth it.

I also really like the flexibility of the hose connection—you can wear it on top of your head or route it out front depending on your preference. That versatility makes it easier to find a setup that works best for your sleeping style.

Overall, this mask outperforms every other one I’ve tried. If comfort, seal, and flexibility matter to you, the Fisher & Paykel Nova is a great choice.

Wow, I just tried this mask for 2 nights and I have to say it might be one of my favorite masks! Super comfortable and great seal. I was able to have minimal leaks, similar to my Nova Micro mask. One thing to note, the mask seems to prefer to be loosely seated on your nose, rather than snuggly to get optimal comfort and seal.

I had been using the Resmed N20 and really liked the headgear, but the hurricane force wind from the mask bothered my spouse. I decided to try the Nova Nasal and was impressed on how quiet it is and no air blowing out the front. I had leak issues, until I realized I was over tightening it. My only complaints are the clips don’t hold as well as the magnets on the N20 and I seem to have to replace the cushion more frequently.

I pre ordered this mask when announced thinking that it looked like it could stay in position on my face better than anything I had tried. I am not disappointed, it works very well. I am 83 years old and have been using a CPAP for more than 15 years. I have a beard and mustache so leakage can be an issue. I have used nasal pillow masks, nasal cushion masks and have had consistent issues of the mask shifting and leaking during sleep movements. This Fisher Paykel Nova Nasel Mask stays in place very well and I get very few leaks. It is a bit more difficult to put on than some, but I have gotten used to it and its superior fit secure placement is worth it. It’s the best so fear!!

Very comfortable and easy to use. I especially love the clip on top for the hose. It’s a great product.

I was very excited about this mask because for me over the nose cushions feel the most comfortable for inhaling and exhaling. The N20 is good but those exhaust holes in the front elbow blow air like a leaf blower. The Phillips Wisp and DreamWisp are slightly better but the bottom straps dig into the bottom of my ears. I was hoping this mask would be a bit more comfortable but the same issue under my ears. Plus the first two nights it was okay but the third through seventh nights the leaks got worse especially hitting my eyes. Believe me I tried every which way to fix it but it got so bad last two nights the mask only lasted half the night and I switched to my Airtouch N30i. RespShop was kind enough to credit me for the mask and told me to keep it. I might give it another go later but for now in the crate of misfit masks.

The nasal part worked fine the mask was very uncomfortable and tight used once and wasted good money on it.

The great mask, i very happy

Light weight and unobtrusive. Easy to clean. Mask did not shift during sleep. Comfortable snugness in not allowing mask to leak. Question on how long the strap will last from removing it daily from mask.

It is a great mask and it works really nicely

I tried the mask for the first time last night, and I really liked it! Its a bit bulky/stiff but I am sure it will loosen up overtime. My seal was perfect, and felt pretty secure while changing sleep positions.
