How do I clean my Nova Micro Nasal Pillows CPAP Mask?
Daily cleaning: nasal pillow cushion, frame, short tube, swivel
Weekly cleaning: headgear
- Disassemble your mask before cleaning. Please refer to the user guide or the myMask app for disassembly instructions.
- Wash the mask parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking the parts for more than 10 minutes and don’t extend the headgear while wet.
- Rinse thoroughly and air dry mask parts away from direct sunlight.
My F&P Nova Micro CPAP Mask is leaking. What should I do?
- Make sure the cushion tab is facing upward and the “F&P Nova” logo on the headgear side strap is upright.
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion to inflate and settle in your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Nova Micro Mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide or the F&P myMask app. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary, making sure the rear straps are spaced apart for stability.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.

How often should I replace my Nova Micro Nasal Pillows Mask?
To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.

I’ve been using the Wisp mask since I started CPAP therapy, but decided to try the F&P Nova Micro nasal pillow mask. So far, I’m really liking it. It’s much lighter, less bulky, and more comfortable, especially when sleeping on my side. Definitely a great option if you prefer a more minimal mask.

I moved from the Brevida to the Nova Micro and couldn't be happier. I was very comfortable with the Brevida and had used for years. It was by far the best mask for me after trying over 10 different styles and types. I thought there was no way it could be beat. But I gave the Nova Micro a shot and it is even better. So minimal, silent, no filter to fall off and loose in the bed, nasal nipples don't invert, and headgear straps are better. All round winner. If you have already become confortable with a nasal insert type nose pillow I would seriously give teh Micor Nasal a try. The 30 day return policy if it doesn't work for you has your back! A probably only write a few reviews a year and I took time to write this one to help my follow CPAP Mask breavern have a little insight.

This is the mask which ticks all of the boxes for me. Great seal no matter what side I am sleeping in and do matter how much I flop around. Super light and comfortable, headgear does not have to be tight to get and maintain that great seal.

This is such a light mask. I had no leaking issues and could move around freely through the night. I am a mouth breather, so the only challenge I have with this mask is that because it is so small and compact it can be difficult to fully exhale. Truly I think this is a me problem as this is my first experience trying a nasal mask. I’m very new to the cpap world. If I can get the mouth breaking under control, I love everything about this mask.

I tried five different masks and each one quite literally rubbed me the wrong way. This lightweight, low-profile design is now my go-to mask. Easy to wear and remove, easy to clean, and will not make you feel claustrophobic like some of the others.

Nova micro mask is great until you are blasted in the eyes with the very strong amount of air from the vent holes.
There should be a diffuser that mitigates that issue. Severe dry eyes occurred because of that air coming from the vent holes. Mask fit well with no leaks, it is the vent causing the problem

I have taken my CPAP mini in different trips and in the last one I purchased the Fisher &Paykel Nova Micro Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask. It is small, fits perfectly and does not take space in my luggage. I recommend this product.

I was using a full mask but I wanted a something nasal pillow mask that was small and light. I found this bad boy and loved it. I fit it once and never readjusted it again. Powerful competitor to the P10

First the mask is very comfortable pillow that provides a nice leak-free fit. I like the design of the headgear but, the stiffdr plastic on the sides isn’t the most comfortable fit for patients with larger faces.

Very similar to my Resmed P10, I like this because the nasal pillows are less intrusive, they fit comfortably inside your nostrils where the P10 sits outside around your nostrils, the micro is very comfortable and easy to get used to.

I really like this nasal pillow. It is small, light, and easy to clean. Replacement cushions are reasonably priced. With my previous nasal pillow (P30i), and all my previous masks in general, I used a size Medium. With the Nova Micro I found the Large to be my correct fit. If trying out this mask I'd suggest getting the Fit-Kit to be sure you get your best fit. Also, I've noticed that my Flow Limitation values decreased using this mask. And I've had no issues with leaks (CPAP pressure of 8). I switched from a Full-Face mask (F&P Avora) to a nasal pillow about a month ago. It took some toughening up of my nostrils but worth the effort. For me I believe the nasal pillow gives me my best therapy.
Updated: After my nostrils toughened up a bit (took about 3 week) I did find I got the best fit with the Medium cushion.

I was really excited about this mask since I’m claustrophobic and hate anything on my face. It is very minimalistic. Beats the P10 in size but for me less comfortable. I can wear it for 2-3 days then my nostrils are sore. I have worn many other pillows masks with no issues. The P10 killer, nope.

Thisis a replacement mask for my previous discontinued nasal mask. this is much lighter, fits my nose better, and the starps do not cut into my face like my previous straps did. Also, the strap on top of the head stays where it should; my other masks in the past did not. I will continue to use this mask for the forseeable future.

This is the mask I use. I’m use both the medium and large pillows. Both fit but some days one is more comfortable than other. The P10 nasal pillows are more comfortable but the Nova frame is more compact and the headgear durability and adjustment is much better.
I can sometimes mouth breathe but solve this by wearing a chin strap when needed

I really wanted to like this mask! It's incredibly lightweight, but I wasn't able to get a good seal with any size nostril piece. It's really difficult to get the angle just right, and if you move it disrupts that and leaks all over again. Additionally, the hard piece below the cushion dug into the skin right underneath my nose and caused enough pain to wake me up. Luckily, the 30 day guarantee allowed me to try something new!
