CPAP Warranty Expired? CPAP Accidential Damage?

Respshop.com offers CPAP machine repair service on select models of ResMed, Philips Respironics, DeVilbiss, HDM Z1/Z2, Somnetics Transcend CPAP & APEX CPAP Machines.

PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT take insurance as a form of payment.

Because many non-US sold CPAPs use different machine parts which can only be accessed in other countries, we only repair the machines originally sold in USA. Some Canadian sold machines are still repairable but please contact us first before you ship it to us.

When Should I Consider To Have My CPAP Repaired?

Sometime times obvious: no power, dark screen, loud noise, or auto stop during your sleep. Some are not that obvious: pressure not accurate, noisy (depends on how noisy it is). Usually these defects are caused by worn motors, defective sensors, water leaks, or dropped to ground. Having your CPAP repaired on time will help improve your sleep quality.

CPAP Machine Repair Cost

The initial $99 processing fee provides a full machine diagnostic and repair quote as well as shipping. If the machine diagnosis shows it is repairable, there will be labor and parts charge for the repair. Before we start to fix the machine, we will send you a quote. We will need your consent before we fix the machine.

A typical CPAP repair (labor and parts) costs $200-500, not including our processing fee.

Who Pays The Shipping?

We cover round trip shipping cost. After you place order online, we will send you a prepaid FedEx shipping label.

What If The Machine Is Not Repairable?

The $99 can then be used towards the purchase of a new CPAP machine if the CPAP machine repair can not be processed or the cost is not effective for the owner. The defective machine will be shipped back to customer.

How Long Does The Repair Take?

Usually 1-2 weeks after we received the defective machine.

Can I Have A Temporary-Use CPAP When My Machine Is Being Repaired?

We do have a CPAP rental serivce which you can consider. The rental service has 35 days. We suggest you order the rental machine first to avoid the gap.

Does The Repaired Machine Have Warranty?

1 year - only for newly replaced parts.

Do You Fix CPAPs If My Machine Purchased Elsewhere?

Yes (as long as in US).

Is There A Cost If My CPAP Is Under Manufacterer Warranty And Purchased Elsewhere?

If the machine was purchased from another US dealer, we charge $99 for processing fee. Manufacturers replace or repair warranty machines for free (if under warranty and confirmed manufacturer defects).

Do You Fix CPAP Humidifier?

We usually don't recommend humidifier repair because it is not cost effective.

I have been a cpap user for about 10 years now and the machine I have been using finally went out on me. I was searching around for a company that would take my machine in and have it repaired but all I have been getting were replies like "sorry your machine has been discontinued and we cant have it serviced or repaired." I was in a jam and couldn't find anything. I came across this "Out of warranty repair service" on Google and I called and asked about it.

Thanks to the fantastic customer service reps, they were able to help me and get my machine serviced for a $100 deposit. Unfortunately because my machine is so old, I wasn't able to get it repaired :( BUT! by using this service I was able to use that $100 deposit towards a new machine or get that money refunded back to me. Of course I used it towards a new machine. Now I have the System one Auto cpap machine by Philips and I could be happier. Thanks RespShop!
