Subject: Dreamstation2
The Dreamstation 2 is not as good as the Dreamstation 1. The water reservoir is small and not as easy to take on and off the machine. The machine does not display all the data it's predecessor did- no AHI, only hours of use. Philips definitely cheaper out on this one. Perhaps they were anticipating having to replace machines on recall.. Customer service at Respshop is excellent.

I am so sorry to hear that you are not happy with your DS2. The AHI does have to be turned on manually now, but it does show as before once activated. Please give us a call at 1-866 -936-3754 and our respiratory therapists will happily take you through it, step by step. Ellie from Respshop

Yes, you can just use the disposable filter. Remember to clean That filter each week and I suggest keeping 12 disposables on hand to replace each month. I replace mine on the 1st of each month
