Note: This kit is designed for use with standard (non-heated) CPAP tubing and is not compatible with AirMini tubing.

I purchase the ResMed AirMini cpap machine even though the reviews talked about the it being noisier than a standard cpap machine. I really didn't believe that but I was willing to give it a try. The RespShop had a deal on the maching and noise cancelling kit so I bought that. It's not the machine that's noisy it's the air in the mask. I tried it without the kit and it's definitely noisier but with the kit it is quieter. Not completely like my home machine but it makes it better. My wife hasn't complained about it which the ultimate test but I can tell a difference. Enough that I'm going to keep the Airmini and use as my daily machine.

Surprised how much it muffled the sound. Worth the cost. I couldn't use the Mini as is.

The good: The kit is very effective at reducing the noise.
The bad: I did not notice much improvement from the part that is supposed to address the dryness.
Needs improvement: The kit did not come with connection instructions, and I had to search around until I found another user that had documented the setup.

This noise canceling kit works quite well to reduce the noise of the ResMed AirMini. Without the kit, this travel c-pap is quite noisy, especially near the tube's connection with the machine. Using the noise canceling kit to bridge the tube and c-pap connection greatly reduces the volume and tone of the noise at that connection. If you're a light sleeper who is sensitive to noise, I would definitely recommend this.

Definitely a big improvement. Doesn't eliminate all noise, but does do better.

While the provided parts seem of good quality, they did nothing to reduce the noise associated with my travel cpap. I use a full face mask. So if you have one of those, I would not recommend trying this kit.

The noise cancelling device is a bit larger than I was expecting so I used if for a few days. I removed it from the tubing to see if it actually improved the noise of the air exiting the vent. It really does a great job! I put it back on the next day and it's going to stay there!

The AirMini is still too noisy but the noise reduction kit did help reduce the noise somewhat on my recent trip overseas.

Happy for the people who have posted that the kit works for them, but personally I'm disappointed and do not recommend that you bother wasting your money. I tried all the attachments in the kit (the way shown in the diagram and also changing things up with hopes of better luck) and it doesn't make ANY difference. Very disappointed since the sound when breathing in and out is very noticeable. The machine itself doesn't make any noise.
