Zopec EXPLORE 5700 CPAP & BiPAP Travel Battery (up to 3 nights)

The Zopec Explore 5700 Universal CPAP Battery is an ideal travel companion for RV trips, long-haul flights, and camping. It has a long battery life of 16 to 24 hours, depending on the CPAP/BiPAP settings and whether or not a heated humidifiers and/or heated tube is used. In addition to powering your CPAP machine, this versatile battery can also charge personal electronic devices such as laptops, cameras, phones, tablets, and gaming consoles via its two USB-A and one USB-C ports.

This battery comes with a 45W car charger (via 12V car cigarette lighter socket) for quick charging on-the-go, as well as an AC wall charger. The Explore 5700 can also be charged off-the-grid with the Zopec Medical PHOTONS 40 Lite SMART Solar Charger. The Zopec Explore 5700 CPAP Battery is compliant with FAA and TSA regulations, making it suitable for air travel.

It's worth noting that this CPAP battery is eligible for reimbursement through FSA and HSA programs, making it an even more affordable solution for those who rely on CPAP machines for better sleep.

BiPAP Compatibility
The Explore 5700 Travel Battery is compatible with select BiPAP machines such as the ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto and the Philips Respironics DreamStation BiPAP Auto. We do not recommend using the battery with these BiPAP modes: BiPAP ASV, BiPAP ST and BiPAP ST-A.

CPAP Compatibility
The Explore 5700 Battery is compatible with all CPAP machines regardless of brand or model. Any CPAP machine that can be plugged into a 110V AC wall outlet is compatible with this battery. Please see below for examples of compatible CPAP machines.

Zopec Explore 5700 Battery Run Time Chart

Important Information Before First Use

Charge the battery overnight (~8 hours) until 100% charged (full LED lights or "F") before first use. Initial charge takes longer as the battery capacity counter is being reset. Charging time will be shorter after the initial charge.
The battery will have longest run time WITHOUT using a heated humidifier and a heated hose. Battery run time decreases by 70-80% when a heated humidifier and heated tube is used. It takes a lot of power to evaporate water!

Subject: Great Portable Battery
I first found RespShop through their amazing YouTube channel! They make great videos for all things CPAP and Sleep related. I was having some issues setting up my ResMed Airmini and their video was so informative and educational! I called RespShop to inquire about travel batteries for an upcoming fishing trip that was going to leave me with no power in the evening for about 2-3 nights. I was given the options for a few battery but the Zopec 5700 stood out the most since I would be able to use my standard CPAP which is a F&P Sleep style.
I am back from my trip and I couldn't be happier with my choice and the recommendation from RespShop. I was able to not only use my CPAP but charge my cell phone and lap top to watch some netflix. I slept for about 6-8 hours each night and the battery lasted the entire night.
I was able to charge after 2 nights and it was very easy to use. I didn't need any adapters, just plugged my Airmini AC cord right to the device. Definitely a great multi use battery!

I believe this exceeds the TSA or FAA rating of 100Wh max to be carried on or used during flights; can you confirm please as of this date 4 Aug 2023?

I would also verify with your airline, however the battery is FAA and TSA compliant for carry-on air travel.

I have an old Philips RemStar 60 series CPAP machine (system one). Am I able to use this battery ?

Answer

The Explore batteries are indeed compatible with the Philips Respironics RemStar CPAP machine. The batteries are AC powered and equipped with an AC outlet, with some models even offering two AC outlets. Therefore, all PAP devices that have 2 or 3 prong ends in the power adapter can be connected to any of our Explore batteries. You simply need to plug in the prong end into the AC outlet of the battery.

I have foldable solar panels -- 100W/18V -- and am wondering if I can charge this battery with this? I don't want to have to buy a new solar panel setup.
