I’m new to the CPAP machine and had received one with the humidifier which I don’t like. So I was spending a lot of time looking for a ResMed 11 side cover and I found it here. When using the side cover without the humidifier, do I need to remove it and wash it weekly as one does with the humidifier?
Answer
Yes, it is a good idea to wash the side cover. At least once a month, ensure it is completely dry prior to placing it back into the unit.

Yes it replaces the water chamber and will decrease the length.

What benefits do I get from using this cover? Can’t I just turn the humidifier off and not add water?
Answer
Yes you can. By using the side cover, you can remove the water chamber permanently and it makes the unit smaller and you do not have to worry about cleaning the chamber.
