ResMed's HumidAir 11 Heated Humidifier is compatible with the brand-new line of AirSense 11 CPAP machines. The ResMed AirSense 11 CPAP heated humidifier is capable of enhancing therapy by preventing some common side effects associated with sleep apnea therapy, including rainout. Compatible with ResMed's new ClimateLineAir 11 tube, the humidifier is a comfort feature that will help you get the most out of your therapy. The cleanable version allows you to clean it with your dishwasher - low maintenance! The water tub has a maximum capacity of 380 mL.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Use mold detergent/soap and water only. The cleanable tub is dishwasher-safe!
Daily
Empty the humidifier tub and wipe it thoroughly with a clean disposable cloth. Allow it to dry out of direct sunlight.
Weekly

  1. Wash the water tube in warm water using a mild dishwashing liquid OR in a solution with a ratio of 1 part vinegar and 9 parts water at room temperature. Components should not be washed in temperatures higher than 131ºF (55ºC).
  2. Rinse thoroughly in water
  3. Allow it to dry out of direct sunlight or heat
  4. Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry cloth

Note: The cleanable water tub may be washed in a dishwasher.

Reviewers Tip:
Please remove the tub from the humidifier before pouring distilled water into the water tub. Do NOT try to fill the tub while it is connected to the machine.
A water chamber must always be installed in the AirSense 11 device for it to work properly unless a side cover is attached.

Subject: terrible cpap
Some 20 yr old designed this thing for looks and not use. The water tank is SO small it’s ridiculous. Ya I know, turn down the temp and humidity, should not be the answer. The patient should have as much moisture as they feel they need, not adjust settings due to design failure.

Question
You are giving out the wrong information. Did you know that? If a person uses part number 39101, according to ResMed regular tap water can be used . If using part number 39100, use only distilled water. Make this clear on your website.
Answer
Hi there, it is actually always recommended to use Distilled water over tap water with a humidifier.
Question
Hello, Just received my new RESMED 11 autoset (39000). during orientation to machine the RT informed that I could use BOTTLED H20. I asked if I needed to use distilled water ... answer was NO. I could use bottled water. My tub has the White tab on top middle of tub. Question is: Can I use Ozone and Reverse Osmosis Filtrated Water... OR... Distilled ONLY?

Thanks
Answer
Hello, it is recommended that distilled water or bottle water but you need to rinse the tub daily with soap and water. You may try osmosis filtrated water as long as the minerals and calcium is removed and again I would recommend that you wash your tube daily. Just do not use water right out of a faucet.
Question
will this air sense 11 water humidifier fits my airsense 10 ?
Answer
Hi there, the Airsense 11 and Airsense 10 Water chambers are both different, so this will not work with your Airsense 10. The Airsense 10 water chamber can be found here: https://www.respshop.com/cpap-humidifiers/parts/resmed-airsense-aircurve-airstart-10-humidair-humidifier-water-chamber-p-848.html

Question
Do you make a larger water chamber for Airsense 11? I have to refill mine twice each night.
Answer
Hi there, unfortunately the water chamber for the Airsense 11 only comes in 1 size. You could try lowering your humidity level and tube temperature slightly to see if you can tolerate a bit less moisture. This will help the water last longer throughout the night.
Question
Can you use tap water to fill it??
Answer
You should always want to use distilled water with your CPAP machine. Feel free to wash your equipment with tap water.
