Card-to-Cloud Data Sharing
Simply have the data read using the included SD card to seamlessly record your sleep data and compliance reports and then you can share that data with your healthcare provider!
Automatic Bi-Level Treatment
The AirCurve 10 VAuto is a bi-level therapy device that can determine when you're having a respiratory disturbance. This ResMed VPAP machine will adjust the pressure depending on your needs throughout the night, increasing pressure when you're having apnea, and allowing you to operate your device at the lowest pressure setting possible for your therapeutic needs. This not only ensures that you have the least invasive and obtrusive therapy possible, but also that you can save energy if you're powering your device with a battery as opposed to a plug-in cord.
Easy Breathe
Easy Breathe technology works by making your respiratory cycle smooth. Easy Breathe helps to regulate pressure, ensuring that you can exhale at a lower air pressure setting than you inhale at. This helps to make your therapy comfortable and allows you to sleep undisturbed.
Pressure Range
The AirCurve 10 VAuto features a pressure range of 3-25 cm H20, which offers both higher and lower pressure settings than a typical CPAP machine. The elevated pressure capabilities are ideal for users with severe forms of sleep apnea, who generally require a high-pressure setting.
Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR)
One of the top features of the AirCurve line of machines is expiratory pressure relief, also known as EPR. EPR works by decreasing the AirCurve's pressure at the onset of each of your breaths and then limiting pressure through exhalation. Pressure will drop by one, two, or three cm pressure depending on your settings and personal preferences. These pressure reductions occur gradually and will help you stay asleep while you breathe throughout the night. EPR also is capable of detecting unnatural respiration: if an apnea lasts for longer than ten seconds, EPR will stop functioning until you resume your normal breathing cycle.
AirView Data Management (not eligible for Non-cellular, Card-to-Cloud version)
ResMed is offering a new data management service where your sleep apnea information can be stored in the cloud and retrieved via your doctor for easy readouts. AirView can also send alerts to your phone via text or voice mail or email to alert you of mask leaks and other potential issues with your CPAP therapy. Free service with the purchase of a machine at RespShop. Please contact RespShop customer service to register your machine. Read more about AirView Data Management.
SmartStart, SmartStop
The AirCurve 10 VAuto allows you to start and terminate your therapy easily with SmartStart/SmartStop. Once your settings have been programmed into the device, you can commence therapy simply by turning your machine on and breathing into your mask. Using SmartStop is just as simple: to end therapy, just remove your mask and your machine will shut off after a few seconds.
HumidAir Humidification
ResMed overhauled its humidification system with the AirCurve series. Now, the new HumidAir heated humidifier comes as a part of every AirCurve VPAP, which helps to make the machine a bit smaller and more portable than previous models. If you don't normally use heated humidification, you still have the option of receiving therapy without it: simply remove the humidifier or leave the water chamber empty. For users who do like heated humidification, fill the 380 ml water chamber, and enjoy protection against unwanted symptoms like nasal congestion and rainout.
Brand New Ramp
The AirCurve features a slightly tweaked ramp device from previous ResMed VPAP machines. In the AirCurve 10 VAuto, you can delay the onset of pressure for up to 45 minutes, allowing you to fall asleep naturally and without an injection of air pressure. After a time, the ramp will kick in and increase the pressure until the machine reaches your desired settings. This will allow you to fall asleep easily without compromising the quality of your therapy and is particularly recommended for users adjusting to CPAP therapy.
Large Screen, Simple Controls
The AirCurve 10 VAuto is ResMed's most intuitive line of VPAPs yet. The machine comes with a large and easy-to-use screen and features large buttons and simple controls. The machine automatically adjusts screen brightness based on the available surrounding light, allowing you to see your screen easily at all hours of the day and night.
Optional ClimateLineAir Tubing
Every ResMed 10 machine is compatible with the new ClimateLineAir heated tube. The tube seamlessly connects your mask and machine and allows you to breathe warm air all night long. The tube ferries warm air from the humidifier to your airways, further bolstering your defenses against symptoms like nasal congestion and rainout.
Mask Fitting
The AirCurve also comes with a mask fitting feature that detects the quality of your seal right on the machine! The system is capable of reporting whether your mask is on correctly or if it needs to be fastened: a happy face will appear on the screen if your mask is on properly while a frown indicates that your mask requires adjustment for successful therapy.

FAQ
What is Card-to-Cloud (C2C)?
C2C, or Card-to-Cloud, refers to the ability of healthcare providers to access patient therapy and usage data via the device’s SD card. While all ResMed devices capture and safely store patient nightly usage data, Air10™ C2C devices cannot relay data directly to the cloud. However, there are steps that can be taken so the data is available for the patient and clinician. Clinicians can use AirView™ to log patient data using the Air10 C2C devices by manually downloading the data off of the patient’s SD card, located on the side of the Air10 C2C device.
Will C2C devices come with an SD card?
Yes. All C2C devices come with a compatible SD card installed in the device.
Why is ResMed offering C2C devices?
To serve the constantly growing backlog of patients waiting to start therapy or to replace a device that is at the end of its design life, they're temporarily adding C2C PAP device to their fleet of connected sleep and respiratory care devices.
Adding C2C devices to ResMed's portfolio of offerings is a temporary decision specifically aimed at alleviating the unmet needs of hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide waiting for ResMed PAP therapy while CAM (Communications Access Module) supply remains constrained.
How can I identify that the device is a C2C device?
Air10 C2C devices are identifiable by the following:
- Air10 C2C devices have unique model numbers
- Air10 C2C devices will have unique labeling
- When powered on, Air10 C2C devices will not have any cellular bars on the top-right corner of the home screen
Will I be able to use myAir app with AirCurve 10 C2C devices?
No. Patients will not have visibility to their therapy and usage data within the myAir app. The myAir app will not capture the patient's sleep data from the Air10 C2C device.
How can I see how I am performing on therapy with an Air10 C2C device?
Users can see their nightly data on the device's home screen each morning and view their therapy reports by accessing the Sleep Report menu on the home screen.
To access comprehensive therapy details within the Sleep Report menu, ensure that Essentials Plus is selected on the device. Essentials Plus can be enabled within the Clinical Menu by selecting Settings, followed by Essentials, and finally by selecting Plus.
Which accessories can I use with the Air10 C2C devices?
AirCurve 10 VAuto C2C devices are compatible with all existing AirCurve 10 accessories and components. Air10 device accessories and components will have no change to current model numbers.
How will clinicians see how patients are performing on therapy with an AirCurve 10 VAuto C2C device?
Clinicians will be able to use AirView to log data from patients using Air10 C2C devices by manually downloading the data off of the device’s SD card.

Registered Respiratory Therapist for RespShop
Let's talk about the ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto with HumidAir. Many of my clients appreciate the comprehensive sleep apnea therapy provided by this ResMed auto BiPAP machine. If you're looking for a feature-rich bilevel device, then the AirCurve 10 may be just what you need!
The ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto adjusts breath-by-breath to deliver optimal air pressure for inhalation and exhalation. The humidification system has been enhanced with the addition of the HumidAir heated humidifier. This humidifier automatically adjusts humidity based on room temperature, and combining it with the ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing helps prevent rainout in your mask and hose.
A unique feature the AirCurve 10 offers for my clients with COPD or other obstructive lung diseases is TiControl. It monitors their inhalation and exhalation patterns, detecting delayed changes in breathing cycles. The AirCurve 10 sets minimum and maximum time limits, helping to prevent cycling. If a client's breathing slows, the AirCurve 10 adjusts its timing to deliver pressure, helping the user stay within the machine's set limits.
Another feature that my clients really love is Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR). EPR lowers your pressure during exhalation, preventing feelings of suffocation that might cause you to stop therapy. It's a great feature that has helped many of my clients continue to use their BiPAP machines comfortably.
Ramp, which was a feature found in ResMed's previous generation of BiPAP machines, is still present in the AirCurve 10. Ramp helps you fall asleep faster by starting therapy off on lower pressure. It then gradually increases pressure over an extended period until it reaches your prescribed pressures. Additionally, Vsync Technology monitors for mask leaks throughout the night to ensure you receive optimal therapy.
Even though the AirCurve 10 is a little more expensive than other auto bilevel machines on the market, it's a solid, reliable machine with a 2-year warranty. Like most things, you get what you pay for and ultimately, isn't a good night's sleep worth it? I sure think so!
