I have borrowed this machine several times from my local hospital, it has been a dependable machine, it is larger than the inogen type portable machine but offers high flow continuous flow oxygen and even higher flow Conserving Flow! I highly recommend this if you have High Flow Oxygen needs.
Doctor told me that it would be a good idea to use a Oxygen Concentration unit. Ive been doing my research and I feel this machine was the one best fit for me. I sometimes needed the machine to go all the way up to 6 and this machine is capable of doing so.
I have a few questions:
1- Could this be used on 220V?
2- I am taking this unit for my uncle in Jordan, do I still need an RX?
3- Would I need any paperwork for customs?
Thank you and have good weekend. (Asked on 08/28/2021)
1. Yes, this can work on 220V
2. We do require a prescription for all oxygen machines. It can be an international prescription.
3. It varies from state to state. I'm not familiar with the requirements of importing medical devices into Jordan. If any issues come up we're happy to help.
If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me at 1-866-936-3754. I am a Respiratory Therapist and work with these units.
Thank you and have a great day,
