Comfortable, Unique Oral CPAP Mask

Introducing the Oracle 452, Fisher and Paykel's unique oral CPAP face mask. The Oracle delivers pressure through your mouth instead of your nose, providing ideal therapy for mouth-breathers and patients who are sick or those who suffer from nasal obstruction. The comfortable Oracle CPAP mask does not obstruct your eyes, allowing you a clear line of sight when you use this product.

Comfortable Oral Face Mask is Easy to Use

Setting up your Oracle 452 Oral CPAP Mask is a breeze. Simply place the mouthpiece, which comes in two different sizes for your convenience, behind your lips and in front of your teeth. Then, fit the outside flap into the mouthpiece, and then fold it over your lips. This should keep the device in place without touching or blocking your tongue. Removing the Oracle is easy as well: Just pull the Easy-Release Cord to take your mask off.

Quiet Air Diffusion

This may be an oral face mask, but that doesn't make it any louder. In fact, Fisher and Paykel designed the Oracle 452 to be a quiet CPAP mask. The mask comes with a filter to stifle noise, and exhalation holes near the elbow of the device to help diffuse air away from you and your partner.

Single Strap Headgear

Tired of obtrusive, uncomfortable, and invasive headgear? The Oracle's single strap headgear is small and lightweight, wrapping around your neck at chin height. With just one strap, the rest of your face is unobstructed, and you'll have zero vision impairment with this CPAP mask.

Rotating Adjustment Dial

If you've ever felt frustrated by your inability to properly adjust your CPAP mask, fear not. Fisher and Paykel have developed an innovative and much-welcomed solution for those who just can't quite get their mask to fit: a rotating adjustment dial. The dial can be literally rotated, letting you tighten or loosen the fit between the headgear strap and the mouthpiece. Simply slide your fingers up and down the dial to adjust the fit - just be sure to maintain proper pressure on the dial as you move it!

Key Features

  • Single Strap Headgear
  • Easy to Tighten and Loosen
  • No Facial Blemishes

Reviewers Tip:

Nasal plugs are included to help you get used to breathing through your mouth while you sleep.

Do I have to use the nasal plugs?

No, but we recommend that you use them while you adjust to the mask. If you breathe primarily through your mouth, or if you suffer from chronic nasal congestion, they probably won't be necessary at all.

Do I need a heated humidifier with this product?

Yes, you'll really want to use a heated humidifier with the Oracle 452. More so than with most masks, you'll wake up with excessive dry mouth if you don't use a humidifier.

I have used this mask for 8 years due to the fact that
I have nasal problems and cannot wear a nasal mask.
The Oracle 452 suits my needs, never any problems with
leakage, it is light weight and is also great for side sleepers.

If you like a mask that is oral based then this is for you. It does a fine job if you don't want to cover your face. Suddenly I feel normal wearing this at night.

Purchased this mask for my boyfriend who has sleep apnea, prior to this he was using your full face mask and he donít like it very much. He liked this better because, he breath thru his mouth when he sleeps and when he started using Oracle 452 he has not complained at ll he is actually loving it, and been having a restful night.

As everybody in the word sleep different, I am greatly appreciative of theFisher Paykel Oracle 452 CPAP, as I am a know as a mouth breather. This product is so perfect me and any one who may breathe threw there mouth as they sleep. Most of all this is a safe product that will give you great comfort as you sleep giving you no worries as you complete your therapy. Can't be beat.

I really like this mask, but I really got dry mouth with it, I am waiting on the arrival of a new machine, and I hope that will help. Other than that, I slept great, I love the fact you don't need the headgear with it.

The mask itself was very good. it fit well and I had no issues keeping the mask in my mouth. Using the nose clip to prevent breathing through the nose was a bit painful, but you only have to keep using it until you get used to breathing exclusively through your mouth.

Unfortunately, this ultimately did not work well for me as I needed to use an oral appliance to align my jaw in addition to a CPAP. This did not allow for it. However, just because it did not work well for me does not mean it won't work for you.

If you are predominately a mouth-breather or suffer from severe nasal congestion due to allergies that prevent you from using a nasal mask on a regular basis, then this might be a good option for you.

The ad does not tell you that you must block your nose (at least at first) to use this. It came with 2 sizes of nostril plugs (neither of which worked). I bought a nose clip (for swimming) and it is most uncomfortable.
