Disposable HypoAllergenic Filters for S9, AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 by ResMed

The ResMed Disposable S9, AirSense/AirCurve 10 Hypoallergenic Filter is used with all S9 and AirSense/AirCurve 10 CPAP and BiPAP machines to reduce allergy symptoms and improve overall air quality. This filter is not washable and should be replaced every 2 to 6 months, depending on dust accumulation and the air quality in your home. If you have pets, we recommend replacing the filter more frequently.

How is the hypoallergenic filter different from the standard filter?

The hypoallergenic filter effectively traps over 98% of airborne particles as small as 7-8 microns, while the standard filter captures more than 75% of particles measuring 7 microns in size. This makes the hypoallergenic filter more efficient at filtering smaller particles compared to the standard filter.

Subject: Hypo Allergenic Filters
These filters came exactly as described, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Resmed filters. Had previously ordered OEM "Resmed Hypoallergenic filters" from another internet CPAP supplier based on their description as original manufacturer product, including OEM part #, only to receive the common knockoff brand, so I returned them and tried again at RespShop. They shipped the OEM filters quickly and were competitively priced. Happy to order again from RepShop.

What is the difference between these filters and the other disposable filters that start at $8.00 for these machines? And please don't just say these are hypoallergenic and those are not. What I mean is, do these last longer or protect the machine better? What is the better benefit of these?

Standard filters should be changed at regular intervals to ensure therapy air is filtered. Change frequently if you have house pets. Hypoallergenic filters are ultra-fine to provide additional filtration from airborne allergens. Recommended for users suffering from allergies and should also be changed regularly (1-3 months) depending on each home and ventilation.
