Z2 Travel CPAP Machine
The new single-pressure Z2 CPAP machine is small enough for travel yet powerful enough for everyday use. This lightweight machine is perfect for travel, just like its predecessor, the Z1. A major improvement is the sound volume. The Z2 uses an improved, quieter motor, and it includes a free Q-tube to muffle tube noises when delivering therapy.
This product includes all the features from the Z1. Not only is this machine light and quiet but you can also use any mask with this machine. Take your favorite mask with you when you travel! If you need humidification, this machine offers tankless humidification with the included Heat Moisture Exchanger (HME). The HME recycles heat and moisture from exhaled air to simulate a humidifier.
HDM has designed this with the traveler in mind. Weighing only 10.3 ounces, it is one of the lightest CPAP machines in the market. Its 6.48" x 3.30" x 2.02" size allows it to easily fit in a backpack or suitcase. Compared to other, bulkier machines, it will take up far less space on a nightstand or tent.
Z-Breathe Exhalation Relief
The Z2 CPAP Travel machine comes with comfort features you will find in any top-notch CPAP machine. The Z-Breathe Exhalation relief function reduces air pressure during exhalation, making it much easier to breathe against the incoming air. The device offers 3 levels of Z-Breathe for your comfort. You will be able to select whichever level is best for your CPAP therapy.
Heat Moisture Exchanger
One feature that sets HDM’s machines apart from other prominent CPAP machines brands is the heat moisture exchanger. Unlike other machines that commonly use water-based humidifiers, the HME can reuse heat and moisture from exhaling. This uses up no power, unlike water-based humidifiers where the water needs to be heated. It is also far more compact and doesn’t require distilled water—another travel-friendly feature.
The Z2 offers the same great integrated battery option as the Z1 for off-the-grid travel. You can also purchase the optional PowerShell for 8 more hours of battery life. This will add an extra night of use for when power is limited.
Automatic Altitude Adjustment
Ideal for patients traveling through mountains, the Z2 CPAP machine was built to automatically detect altitude and to adjust therapy pressure accordingly. The machine is capable of operating from sea level to 8,000 feet above sea level.
The Z2 will detect minor leaks from your CPAP Mask and adjust its pressure accordingly. If you experience a mask leak, the device will ensure that your prescribed pressure needs are met. If there are major leaks, the device will let you know with an error message.

What are the differences from the Z1 model?
Although they are the same size and weight, the Z2 has an improved motor that is 29% quieter.
What are the differences from the Z2 Auto model?
The Z2 Auto is an auto CPAP machine, so it can automatically adjust the pressure level to follow your breathing cycle. This product, in comparison, is set to a certain air pressure, so it will not adjust to your changes. Both machines have Z-Breathe Exhalation Relief, but this only accounts for breathing out. The Z1 will always have the same prescribed air pressure when breathing in.
