Sleep On Your Side With Comfortable CPAP Mask

ResMed's updated Quattro Face Mask is an innovative, market leading CPAP device designed with your comfort in mind. The Quattro is a small and unobtrusive device that allows users a clear line of site and minimal points of contact to the face. This easy to use mask fits comfortably, allowing you to get a good night's sleep with minimal hassle.

Great for Side Sleepers

The Quatro FX seals securely on your face without any forehead support. The Quattro's light and flexible straps wrap easily around heads of all sizes, allowing users to sleep comfortably on their back or on their side. Because the device has few contact points on the face, you can avoid obvious facial blotches and red marks by using the Quatro FX.

Spring Air Technology

Spring Air technology creates a suspension-like action between the frame and air cushion. The two parts combine to make a stable design, distributing pressure evenly around the face while allowing users to move freely.

Full Range of Motion

Like the initial design, the second generation Quattro allows users full 360 degree elbow rotation. The device's comfortable fit also allows you to move your face freely without dislodging the mask. The design allows users to read, watch television, and even converse with ease. You should also be able to wear glasses while using the Quattro FX.

Comfortable Fit

You should get a great sleep with the Quatro FX's robust cushion designs. The dual-wall contains two cushions, one around the nose, and another that rests above the chin. As you breathe, the outer membrane will inflate around your nose, minimizing the likelihood of air leaks or pressure sores around your face.

Easy Application

To fit the Quattro FX to your face, use Spring Air's Swing Technique: simply ensure that the upper cushion rests on the center of your nasal bridge, and then place the bottom of the mask between your lower lip and chin. Just attach the headgear clips and adjust the straps for a comfortable and secure fit.

  • Two cushion layers
  • Crown cap headgear with no forehead attachment
  • Swing Technique allows for quick application

Reviewers Tip:

The mask comes apart easily for a quick and easy cleaning.

FAQ

How often will I need to replace my mask?

Most masks should be replaced after roughly six months. Once the cushions start sagging, or the straps lose their elasticity, the mask will not be able to seal effectively.

If the cushions are sagging, do I need to replace the mask entirely, or just the cushions?

You should be able to get away with replacing just the cushions at least once (after three months or so).

I've noticed that the mask sometimes leaks when I sleep on my side? Why?

Because there is no forehead press, the mask can slide with side-to-side movement if it is not fastened properly. Ensure the device is attached securely before you go to sleep.

    Joe,

You are experiencing what I call Hippo Mouth. I assume this happens when your machine is at higher cm. of pressure and when you begin to breath through your mouth a little, the higher pressure blows into your mouth which in turn inflates you checks (thus hippo mouth) causing a dry mouth. My ResMed Air Sense Auto set ramps to my prescription of 15 cm/ap and at that pressure I have a lower chance of check inflating. I also have the heat/humidifier set at 80 degrees which gives me plenty of humidification. Ever night I use a sniff of Afrin (lasts all night) to clear my nose for the night. With my pressure and nightly ritual I never get hippo mouth. If your pressure is higher that 15 cm you may have to use a chin strap to keep you mouth from opening. I'm not a fan of chin straps but the best by far is the Puresome Ruby. Very comfortable and keeps your mouth shut. I use this chin strap if I want to use my Phillips Dream Wear, I can't stand nasal pillows and the Dream Wear sits under your nose and is extremely comfortable.

The Quattro FX is my go to full face mask. I tried the RespCare Hybrid and the fist week I love it even though I'm not a fan of nasal pillows. But after the first couple weeks the pillows would begin to leak. I would have to over tighten the top straps tot he point of discomfort so I'm done with pillows. I then tried the Amara View and again loved it for about 2 weeks and then the nose area would leak unless over tightened. I tried the new Resmed F20 and after a couple nights, due to the huge amount of cushion material that is this frosted silicon stuff, that will leak (I have a very trimmed goatee). The frosted silicon is great for anyone without any facial hair but will leak-leak-leak and leak some more with contact of facial hair.

This Resmed Quattro FX has the regular shiny silicone with seals perfect to facial hair and I barely have to snug up the head gear to get a great seal. The silicone is so soft and comfortable it rides around your face. I'm a back and side sleeper and I do use the CPAPmax Bed Pillow by Contour. It's expensive at $70 but it is AMAZING and has cut outs so when you sleep on your side, the mask won't hit the pillow and cause the mask to move too much. With 4 height settings you can get the perfect comfort fit for anyone and it stays cool with the technology built in to this pillow.

The Quattro FX and the Contour Pillow is my perfect combo!!!

i personally didnt do well with this mask. i tend to move a lot while asleep and the mask always was leaking, I think its every mask works different for everybody, but in my opinion it wasnt confortable since i sleep on the side and the mask moved by touching my pillow. Its not very invasive dough.

Best mask yet but I have encountered one problem. I am a left side sleep and the mask irritates my eye.

Sorry left out one of the more important things (I think anyway)

For cleaning the frosted X pops off the mask with the headgear attached-- easy to wash the mask and pop it back into the X... You're off and sleeping.

Good mask although without the forehead support as a side sleeper tendency to induce leaks...

Seals well until seal becomes worn, keep an extra on hand for when this happens.

    Very lightweight and comfortable.

The Quattro Fx mask is light weight and unobtrusive, with no forehead brace. The silicon cushion is wider, so it doesn't cause irritation to my nose because it sits mid-bridge. I have almost no leakage wearing this mask.

I tried the full face mask with headgear, the total face also, they caused a sore neck that i could only cured by going to the Quatro FX full face. The guy that invented that mask deserve a medal.
