If you have sleep apnea and are a CPAP user who sleeps in a cold environment, heated tubing and a humidifier is the easiest way to achieve a comfortable night's sleep. Respironics 60 Series humidifiers have a humidity sensor that will deliver whatever level of humidity you prefer in order to provide maximum comfort. Just be careful with your tubing around animals that like to chew on things.
How to connect the heated tubing to your Respironics 60 Series CPAP
Will this tube work with Respironics 50 series machines?
No, this tubing is designed specifically to work with any of the Respironics 60 series CPAP, APAP, or BiPAP machines.
I want to take better care of my tube, is there an easy way to clean it?
Taking your tube off and hanging it in a dry place daily is recommended so that any added moisture can dry up, but it is not always as effective as it should be. We recommend purchasing a Stainless Stem CPAP Tube Brush . They are available in both 3 foot 5 inches and 5 foot varieties depending on the length of your tube, and will allow you to clean out your tube regularly.

Why do you need a heated CPAP hose?
The main reason for a heated hose is to avoid moisture build up in the CPAP tube.
If you use a fan at night or if your bed is near a window, sometimes the moisture from the humidifier can condense and pool in the hose before it gets to your airway.
When this happens, it can wake you up by creating a loud popping sound as the air blows past the water, and in some cases can cause what we refer to as "rain out" where the water starts to splash on to your face or pour in to your nose.
The heated hose insulates the air from the cooler temperatures in your room to avoid this.
You can also adjust the heat in the hose for your comfort making this a great option to the standard hose!
Awesome! Good quality products and will definitely order again
This heated tubing for the System One humidifier is great! I have been using the system one unit for several years now and started having an issue with condensation in my tubing. Had to purchase the newer model of humidifier to go along with this newer heated tubing but now its so nice to not have water issues at night and a dry hose free of mildew and other nasty bugs!
