Flexible 15 mm CPAP Tubing
The System One Performance Tubing from Respironics is intended for use with any CPAP machine compatible with 15 mm tubes. This includes products from both Respironics and ResMed. If your machine accommodates 15 mm tubes, you'll be able to use this intuitive and lightweight tube.
Advantages of Lightweight Tube
Lightweight tubes are preferable for a few reasons: they won't drag your mask down, you'll be able to turn over without resistance from a bulky tube, and they tend to be easier to assemble. Weighing just a few ounces, the tubing reduces drag and will help you maintain an effective seal throughout the night.
The Performance Tube is compatible with any CPAP or BiPAP machine that can work with a 15 mm hose. This includes the Respironics System One 60 Series Auto, other Respironics System One machines, and all ResMed S9 devices.
The 15 mm tube, which is 7 mm narrower than traditional tubes, is a standard six feet long, which gives you the flexibility to toss and turn without dislodging your mask at night.
- Travel Friendly
- Aesthetic White Colored Design
- Reduces Drag
If you've found that your 22 mm tube is too bulky or otherwise uncomfortable, consider trying a 15 mm tube instead.
How to Manage Your CPAP Tubing
How can I tell if my machine accommodates a 15 mm tube?
For Respironics products, check your machine. If under TUBING TYPE, it offers two options (15 mm and 22 mm), the 15 mm tube will work on your machine. If not, it won't. For ResMed, it's easier. If you have an S9 machine, the tube will work; if you don't, it won't.
How long do tubes usually last?
A few months, if they're taken care of. You'll want to clean the tube daily to remove bacteria from the tube, but eventually, unremovable bacteria will clog the inside of your tube and you'll need to get it replaced altogether.
the short tube i need has ends with groves inside to connect.thanks david
