Is the 3M Open Cell Foam used in the HDM Z2 toxic in the same way as the Phillips Respironics foam, which has been recalled by the FDA? (Asked on 08/21/2021)
This foam is made of a different material than the Philips Respironics foam. It's made of a polycarbonate material, whereas the Philips foam is made of polyester based polyurethane material.

The FDA deems this material to be safe for use in these devices.
