How do I locate the size of my current DreamWear mask?
The cushion size can be found on the front of the cushion next to the arrow where it plugs into the frame. The frame size is stamped near its connection to the elbow swivel

Does this mask come with a short tube?
No. The mask comes with a 360° swiveling elbow but no short tube. Since your CPAP circuit connects overhead, the tubing does not apply downward drag on the mask, so a short tube extension is not needed.

What is the size of the frame included in the FitPack?
The FitPack includes a medium frame which fits most CPAP users comfortably. Small and large frames are available for purchase separately.

What is the difference between the DreamWear with Arms and the original DreamWear Nasal Mask without Arms?
The difference is the headgear. The Headgear with Arms is a refreshed and upgraded design to prevent unintentional mask movement during sleep. The mask uses the same nasal cushions and frame as the original DreamWear nasal mask. If you already own a DreamWear nasal mask, you can just purchase the Headgear with Arms separately to upgrade your DreamWear system.

With the face mask I was always getting poor seal, dry mouth and tongue and a lower CPAP monitoring score 60 to 80%. The first night with the nasal mask I noticed a drastic improvement. Better seal, no dry mouth or tongue. And CPAP score went up to between 90 to 100%. Now I want to use my CPAP instead of dreading the thought of another night of discomfort and dry mouth.

I have received the Dreamwear nasal mask and have used it for three nights. I have been using the F&P Eson2 nasal mask medium size. I wanted to try something else because my current mask leaked air into my eyes causing them to dry out and they stayed irritated all the time. My pressure setting is at 12.
The Dreamwear nasal mask medium size fits perfectly according to the pictures and sizing information that came with it. I noticed that there was minimal air leaks and it was far enough away from my eyes that even the leaks would not blow on my eyes. Other positive aspects are that it is very light and does not obstruct my vision if I need to look at something. Lastly it does not leave those marks on my face. The nasal mask has not made the end of my nose sore either. At this point, I am very pleased with this mask. I have made several purchases from Respshop and am 100% satisfied with them. The only negative thing about the mask is that strap will pull up on the back of my head if I move my head in the wrong direction. This is due to the minimal amount of headgear used. That’s a trade that I can live with.

I have tried many other masks and so far DreamWear is the most comfortable with hardly no air leak. I am finally able to have long, uninterrupted sleeps. As a result I wake up rested and stay alert through out the day.
With DreamWear mask, it is possible to sleep on your side.
Nose piece (cushion) is amazingly comfortable and won't leave any bruise marks. Frame can leave marks however felt frame cover attachments helps reduced marks.
Only negative is the headgear, it looses its shape and tension within a month. It needs to be longer lasting.

This mask works extremely well for me, I no longer have a to look for other options.

I have been using this exact setup (Large Frame, Medium Nose Cushion) for two years and find it very comfortable, easy to maintain, and when purchased in the KIT 1116691 very affordable. Getting the kit with your sized headgear and nose cushion is the least expensive way to order it. And you get everything that you need except the Hose (or Heated Nose), and the water reservoir. This site carries these kits for a price LOWER than my insurance deductible !!! Going to place my next order here!

This new mask is life changing. I have not been woken up by air leaks, noise, skin irratation, it doesn't leave marks on my face. I can watch TV or read without the mask in the way. I can get up and use the bathroom with the quick disconnect.
My wife woke me up slightly panicked, because she hard no air leaking while I was quietly sleeping, she has never heard that.
I have a commerical drivers license so my therapy is mandated. I would recommend this mask to anyone.

Subject: Comfortable and stays in place
I like that the air relief port is on the top and not at the nostrils. My old mask would blow cold air on my hands and arms while on my side. This mask eliminates that. It is very comfortable and does not irritate the nostrils. It stays in place and needs very little, if any, adjusting during the night.

Excellent seal and a very comfortable mask. I still struggle a bit because I tend to be a mouth breather but that is not the fault of the mask. In my opinion, this is the best nasal mask on the market today.

My medium head gear for nose pillow is to large, I can place my fingers between top of head gear and scalp. Tends to slip around and wakes me up. I got a small head gear and it is to small. Does phillips make something between medium and small?

It is always recommended to use distilled water, but if you're stuck in a pinch I would recommend boiling the water first, and letting it cool down before using with your CPAP.

Did you have the tubbing for this mask? This tubbing have a flange in one of the side for the quick release of the mask connector.

Answer

Any Tube will fit this mask. If it does not, you have an old piece of hard plastic stuck in your tube or you are missing the small white tube on the mask.

My doctor suggested I get a mask with a fit pack option. I am not sure I like the tube connection on top of my head like the Dreamwear nasal mask has. Are there any other nasal masks that have the fit pack option?

Answer

The fit pack option really takes the stress out of trying a new mask. Having all sized cushions allows you to find the right size for you with no risk. Other nasal masks with fit packs include the Fisher and Paykel Eson 2 and the Evora, and the Philips Wisp. Each of these masks attach to the CPAP tube in front.
