ResMed Air Sense 11 (Air11) Auto CPAP Machine
With an intuitive touchscreen, large on/off button, integrated heated humidifier, and built-in cellular and Bluetooth connectivity, the ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet makes sleep therapy more accessible and convenient than ever.
It comes with the same trusted comfort features you know and love from ResMed, including:
- AutoRamp for gradual pressure increase after you’ve fallen asleep
- Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR) for easier exhalation
- Mask Fit check to ensure a proper seal
- SmartStart/Stop for hands-free therapy initiation and pausing
When paired with the ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube, Climate Control Auto effectively prevents condensation from forming inside the hose and mask.
It keeps the air at a comfortable 85% relative humidity and the tube temperature at a consistent 80°F (27°C). Tube temperature is adjustable within 60 to 86°F (16 to 30°C).
Connect the Air11 to the myAir app (iOS/Android) to access your personal sleep coach. Voice-guided instructions and interactive setup videos help you stay on track from day one, while tailored feedback and tips keep you motivated.
With your consent, your therapy data and responses to the myAir check-in questions can be shared securely with your care team to help them better assist you.
The machine's internal storage can hold up to 365 days of summary data without a SD card. However, detailed data storage will require a SD card (sold separately).
Please note that airline policies regarding in-flight CPAP use can vary. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your airline’s on-board CPAP use policy prior to traveling.
The Air11 filter (standard and hypoallergenic) should be replaced every 6 months or earlier if you have pets.

Good machine. No questions. Everything works well.
I upgraded my two year old Airsense 10 to an Airsense 11. I read multiple reviews before making this decision. I do not see any difference in noise level or humidity chamber water use like others, but I live in the humid southeast. Maybe it is an issue in dryer climate. I made the change because I like the bluetooth capability , and monitoring my sleep on an easy and consistent basis with the app. For me CPAP therapy has been a game changer, and I like the ResMed units. If you are a first time user or upgrading, I would definitely recommend the Airsense 11.
Customer Support was so helpful with my questions. The product arrived on time. It was easy to follow setup instructions. My first night of sleep was amazing. I have always had short periods of light sleep interrupted by long periods of being awake. I usually would be up at least twenty times a night. Rarely did I ever see more than a sliver of deep sleep or REM.
Last night, I had large sections of uninterrupted light sleep with huge sections of deep sleep sandwiching another large chunk of REM sleep! There was only one tiny sliver of being awake. I woke up rested after nearly four hours sleep! I wanted to try and go back to sleep, but I was awake and excited about how rested I felt.
I decided to go with the N20 mask. It fit great and the auto humidity level seemed perfect. I am very happy with my AirSense 11.
The Resmed 11 is a great machine - i have had 2 other cpap’s over the last 20 years - both Remed. The Resmed 11 is absolutely quiet , i was impressed the moment i turned it on.
Also Resshop.com did a great job handling my order promptly and at a real good price
Very good product, excellent service, fast delivery, next time I will buy again.
Love everything about this machine. She is quiet runs smooth
The AirSense 11 has been great. My compliance has improved and the quality of my therapy has been enhanced.
I ordered the 11 after using the 10 for over 8 years. Not for any reason other than a sale for over 30% off. I’ve been using cpap since 2000. I op the mask on and I’m asleep within 5 minutes. This new machine is super quiet and technically easy to manage. I recommend it to anyone needing cpap.
I've only used it 4 nights so far, but, really like it. It was easy to setup and use. The sleep results are immediate on the app after disconnecting my mask in the morning. The humidifier tub lasts me all night, which for me is 11 hours, as I have several medical condidtions that require additional rest. I especially like the touch scree, so easy to use and see the information and settings you need to adjust. I have moderate obstructive sleep apnea. It's a very nice machine.
I called Respshop after I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. My doctor told me I had severe obstructive sleep apnea and needed to use CPAP therapy in order to control the apneas that caused me to stop breathing. My doctor gave me a prescription for an Auto Cpap with pressures of 6cmH20 - 15cmH20. I was lucky to speak to a very informative customer service representative who is a Certified Polysomnographic technician! I was impressed to be able to speak to someone educated in the field of sleep. Respshop walked me through the different CPAPs that would be compatible to my prescribed pressures. I learned about all the pros and cons and settings of each. When Respshop explained the Remote Data Compliance service to me, I knew I wanted to purchase a CPAP with a built in modem. To be able to have this knowledgeable support available to me was very reassuring. Respshop will be able to view my data, evaluate and advise me about the data and even make changes to my settings remotely. I cannot wait to receive my new CPAP. Thank you Respshop.
I have been using CPAP therapy for nearly 10 years. I wanted to get a new CPAP as the manufacturer recommended replacing the CPAP every five years. I certainly do not want to get caught without a CPAP. The business I originally purchased from is now out of business and honestly, they we never very good at helping me. I came across RespShop.com on Youtube and was I ever impressed. Reuben has taught me more about CPAP than I ever received from the other business. How have I not been a customer of RespShop in the last nine years they have been in business? Their Youtube channel led me to their website and I continued to be impressed. I could easily navigate through the web pages of masks and CPAPs and parts. Each item had information and reviews. It was amazing. After perusing the web pages, I called into Respshop to complete an order. A Respiratory Therapist took care of me. She was kind and patient and just full of information and tips as well. It is simply understated how great it is to receive this level of customer service. Respshop is the best CPAP company I have ever dealt with. You have a customer for life. I am recommending you to everyone I know. Thank you very much.
When I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, I was given a prescription but little information. I was underwhelmed about using therapy and I felt completely unsupported. I called Respshop to order the Resmed Airsense 11. I certainly was not expecting to speak to such an informed customer service agent. I was pleasantly surprised to know I was speaking to an experience professional. I learned so much in that initial conversation that I actually started to look forward to using therapy. I did not hesitate to add the Remote Data compliance Service to my order when she explained this supportive service option. The Resmed Airsense 11 has a built in modem so Respshop could connect it to a professional program and be able to review my sleep data. Amazing. Now I receive regular reports with explanations of the data. I now understand compliance, effects of a mask leak, AHI and my auto pressures. I was able to have confidence in the therapy when I understood the data. It is obvious by both the data, the expert review and by how much better I am feeling. When you purchase the Resmed Airsense 11 Cpap, get the remote data compliance service as well!
Thank you Respshop for your informative articles and Youtube videos! I am very grateful for the knowledge you have given me. It is liberating. I went to my doctor and discussed my wish for AUTO prescription with a range of pressures. I did not know the difference between a CPAP and an APAP machine before. Learning the technology provides the pressures that I need made perfect sense to me. Imagine a technology being able to use algorithms and respiration detection to provide the exact pressures. I have been "optimally treated" a term Respshop taught me, since I started using the Auto machine. Now I know I will always be receiving the right pressure. I used to worry about that. My doctor was happy to prescribe the Resmed Airsense 11 when we discussed APAP therapy because the Airsense 11 has both CPAP and APAP technologies! Amazing. My doctor wants this option in case he needs to switch me back and forth. It is like having two machines in one! Go get yourself an Airsense 11! You will be glad you did.
Easy to use machine. Still learning. New user for a week.
I can't compare this to any other product because I'm a newbie but this little unit is fantastic. It does the job and changes pressure when I need it. I find the printout OSCAR reports really helpful and like the MyAir app. I've felt much better using this little beauty. I hope you enjoy your therapy and get through the first week of adjustment. It's worth it.
This is my first machine. It has been very easy to use. I read reviews stated the Reservoir ran out of water before it was time to get up I have had no issues with this whatsoever and have even turned my humidity up much higher than preset and have yet to run out of water this unit is very quiet easy to navigate and I love the touchscreen
I am very impressed with this company. The service and help over the phone was excellent.Ill tell my cpap m.d.s about you guys.Thank you
Thank you we appreciate you kind words.
This is my first Cpap machine. I have currently used this machine for about a month and a half. The Machine was pre-set up by the company to the prescription requirement of my doctor. Pairing of the Resmed Airsence 11 to my phone with the Myair app was rather easy to do. It also had good step by step instructions on making adjustments to the machine also for mask type. The owner is also able to go into the clinical settings and adjust the pressure and ramp time if needed ( by doctors orders) them self. This Cpap also has a "warmup" function where it starts heating up the water for humidity before you put the mask on, I find this setting useful to push air thought the tubing and mask to push out some of that rubbery type smell of the tubing. The only down side i have found with this machine is the humidifier chamber. For some reason at the hinge point is lower and sloped down from the rest of it, that makes the max fill line higher then the hing point. The trick i have found is to tilt the humidifier tub back and then fill it and close the lid before moving it back level. Makes filling the tub easier to the max line, and spilling less water. The only thing i wish they would do is make a different water tub that had the hinge point higher up so one wouldn't need to tilt it back to fill to capcity.
In short this machine is really easy to use, and set up. The displace is nice and bright if there is light in the room. and not to bright when the room is dark or dimmed. Noise wise is it fairly quiet in my option, but i have no other machine to compare it to. The noise from the air moving out of the mask vents is much more notifiable then the machine its self.
Since this is my first CPAP unit, I have nothing to compare it to and thus don’t have the same complaints as some other reviewers. I had a friend who let me try his AirMini which is why I decided that using a CPAP machine wouldn’t be so bad. Of course that’s a smaller unit but I found the hoses on that much more cumbersome to sleep with. It would be fine for a few days of travel but the AirSense 11 with the n30i mask works very well for me. It’s quiet, compact and I really like how the hose connects at the head so I can turn over at night and not have to reposition hoses. It was more expensive than the AirSense 10 but I wanted the slightly smaller unit and the mobile app to go with it vs. having to deal with an SD card that I don’t even know if I would be able to read myself. For me, it was worth the upgrade.
This is my 1st experience with a c pap machine. I am well pleased. I feel so much better the next day since I started it.
I am very pleased with the pre-sales support provided by Ms. Patty. All my questions about product selection, features, delivery time-frames, etc. were professionally responded by her. The response was very fact based (no over-promising), knowledgeable and courteous. The committed shipment date was 5/20/2022 but the product was shipped on 5/16/2022. RespShop under-promised and over-delivered. Thank you Patty and the RespShop team for your excellent service!
I treat patients with Sleep Apnea. The AirSense 11 is now the gold standard.Respironics has been recalled and the machines they make are to replace the recalled devices. I cannot remember the last time I received an electronics device made in the USA. There is another company, Luna, but would stay away from these machines. They lack many of the functions of ResMed and are unreliable. They do not have a modem so you will need to find an MD that is able to monitor and set up the machine.
I had sleep apnea for years but didn't know it until recently. I have been using this machine for a week now and I feel so much better. I have so much more energy now and not feeling tired all the time like I had been. I'm so glad I purchased this.
This CPAP was so easy to set up using the app. There were step by step directions. So far I love using it. Tje only thing I will say if you should be careful not to put too much water in the reservoir. I filled mine to the Max fill line and water ended up getting in the tubing and cause it to give me a High Leak Detection.
My new machine is amazing, and the Bluetooth app is very nice!
After 8 good years with the trusty S9, the new AirSense 11 is an impressive upgrade. It's more compact, weighs less, quieter, and easier to refill than the S9 was. The integration of the app is helpful and well thought-out. No complaints.
This is the first machine i bought so far has been working really good for me. I really satisfied with it.
So far so good. Lower profile than my S10 and is just as quiet. No complaints on how it operates and the LCD touch screen is a nice addition. Some people have complained about the hose connection being straight out of the machine but I haven't had a problem with it. On the downside, the chamber for the water is a bit awkward as it is easy to spill water out of it while carrying it back to the machine. For that the review looses a star. I did take me several tries to get the S11 to connect via Bluetooth.
runs out of water sooner than the previous model---otherwise it is much better in almost every way---to bad they do not have a replacement or optional larger water reservoir!!!--that would solve the problem--
The machine runs out of water to fast....I end up having to put more water in it around 4 in the morning..is there a way to fix that?
Thanks Guy
Just purchased this machine as a replacement for a recalled Philips Dreamstation (thanks for the delay, Philips) machine. It was extremely easy to order and setup, seems to work great and is quiet as well.
My criticisms so far:
- Wonky reservoir design
- Reservoir uses water much faster than Philips machine (perhaps it holds far less water)
- Machine not provided with a cover to use when travelling and not using reservoir
- Host attachment at back of machine seems crude compared to Philips which had a swivel adapter on the top
Those items aside, again so far with 1-2 weeks of use, seems like a solid unit.
Please be aware that the sd card is not included with this device.
I am using an AirSense11. I chose to use it without water. First two nights we’re short duration about two hours then four hours. The third I was determined the use the cpap the entire night and I was successful in completing my goal. I had a setback with a lot of nasal congestion and sneezing and have not used the cpap again. I had problems with my prior cpap and sinus infections, so I discontinued using the cpap for about three years.
My wife is asking if adding water to the cpap would help. I doubt that will help, I was using the prior cpap with water. Looking for suggestions.
.
We highly recommend that you use distilled water, this will help with your congestion. You may need to adjust the humidity level based on your environment.
We DO NOT recommend running the EMPTY water chamber. We do offer a Side Cover but try the water first.
You cannot control the screen turning off. Seems like a minor thing until the 3rd or 4th, 5th, 6th time your in the middle of the night wanting to throw this expensive unit in the garbage because they couldn't program the simplist option into their machine. It just stays lit 20 seconds.... 30 seconds, 40 seconds...1 minute... full brightness. Don't you dare touch the screen looking for an option to turn it off, because there's another 2 minutes it won't shut off. So stupid. Expensive fan programmed by a middle schooler in computer class.
I had used AirSense 10 for some years and rented this AirSense 11 to try. I worked great and I could feel that the pressure changed smoothly. However the water reservoir is a BIG problem here, it ran out of water within 5-6 hours. I tried filling water as high as possible, still in would not last until the morning. I will wait for another model that is fixed this issue.
Hello, thank you for your feedback regarding this Resmed device. We will forward this information to the Manufacturer. The water reservoir is a bit smaller than the Airsense 10 device when ResMed made the Airsense 11 overall more compact.
Disappointed in the quality and operation of the Resmed 11. I was a current user of the Resmed mini and after talking to rep at Respshop I thought this would be an upgrade. The 11 is bulky and requires distilled water refills every two days. The mini uses a humidex waterless humidifier that always worked great for me. Save a few dollars and space and get the mini instead.
I'm so sorry that you are not loving your AirSense 11! It is definitely a smaller machine than the AirSense 10 which it replaced, but you are right, nothing compares to the compactness of the AirMini.
The machine new touch screen features is an improvement over the Air Sense 10 auto. The air sense 11 noise is not as good as the Air sense 10. There is distinctive noise during inhalation on the AIr sense 11 while in use. The Air sense 10 is quiet.
Maybe it is just the Air sense 11 unit that was sent but I am not happy with the purchase. I would like it replaced with a new Air sense 11 or exchange for a Air sense 10 with credit for the price difference.
Delivered to 1000 East Island Blvd, Aventura FL. instead of
2600 Island Blvd, Aventura FL
Totally unacceptable. I expect a substantial credit for this mistake.

Hello Varet,
We will have our returns department reach out to you. They will assist you in the next best step! Thank you for your feedback! We will be in touch with you shortly.
I am very unhappy with my CPAP it worked fine for about a couple of months then now every time the electricity goes off and comes back on it does not work for like 2 days so far it's been two days now and it's still ain't come back on I want it replaced I am pissed off. If it wasn't for the fact that it helps me when I stop breathing I would send this piece of junk back to you but I need it so I need a new one now.
Whoever is in charge of their design team should be fired. How could they make their latest and greatest machine and completely fumble by making the hose come straight out (perpendicular) from the back of the machine? This machine uses a different hose than the previous AirSense 10 machine that came out with a 90-degree elbow. The new hoses do not come with a 90-degree option, and the old hoses are intentionally designed to not be compatible. To someone who doesn't use a machine this might not seem like a big deal, but if anyone on the design team actually used one, they would understand just what a fumble this is. This caused the now smaller machine, to take up twice as much space on a nightstand than the older larger design. Who could possibly think this is acceptable. When I bought my machine, I was told there was an adapter for this, but it turns out one DOES NOT EVEN EXIST. Now I will be forced to downgrade to the outdated model that does not even have wireless capabilities anymore.
Thank you for reaching out to us. I am so sorry you are unhappy with your purchase. Please call us so we can discuss your options if you purchased it from Respshop.com 866-936-3754
I am totally dissatisfied with Airsense 11 autoset, before making the purchase I contacted Respshop through the chat to ask some questions about the team and the most important was the place of manufacture of the machine, to which they told me that it was made in Australia. They sent a photo confirming the country of manufacture and as it appears in the photos of the Respshop virtual store, to my bad and great surprise when I received the equipment I realized that the equipment is Made in Singapore, which I did not buy in my Country Lima Peru South America because by medical indication, the doctor recommended that the equipment be made in the USA or Made in Australia
even in the purchase order where they indicate the products that have been purchased they specify Made in Australia
I feel totally cheated by the Respshop company since they offer a Made in Australia product and when they deliver it to the customer it is Made in Singapore, if they had been honest with the manufacturing site I would have bought the equipment in my country avoiding spending a large additional sum of money for the cost that has caused me that a person brings me the equipment and the taxes that have to be paid in my country for entering with a machine like that
I have been encouraged to write this comment because a company cannot be allowed to offer a Made in Australia product and when they send the equipment it is Made in Singapore I go to the fact of deception which as a client I cannot allow
I have reported my case this morning via chat and they tell me that they will hardly find a Made in Australia team, so why offer something that they do not have, I am still waiting for a response to see if in the new group of teams that arrive they verify if are there any Made in Australia
Unfortunately, I live very far away and they have caused me a big problem since the equipment that I received in Peru has returned, since I have to change it, I will have to find a person who can do me the favor of returning the equipment, obviously they will charge me for doing that favor
And it makes me sad to go through this situation because the lady with whom I chatted was very kind, she even helped me make the purchase and today I contacted a very kind lady to give my complaint and I am waiting for her to help me find the best solution
Hi there, please note that ResMed started originally out of Australia, but they have grown extensively and currently operate in 100 countries. They now have manufacturing sites in Australia, France, Singapore, and the US. Singapore is a very technologically advanced country and ahead of most countries around the world. Please pass this message along to your physician, as they most likely wanted you to purchase a ResMed product and only mentioned Australia because that is where they originated. We unfortunately cannot choose which manufacturing site they come from, but please rest assured that each manufacturing site has strict quality control.
