Question
Is the 3M Open Cell Foam used in the HDM Z2 toxic in the same way as the Phillips Respironics foam, which has been recalled by the FDA?

This foam is made of a different material than the Philips Respironics foam. It's made of a polycarbonate material, whereas the Philips foam is made of polyester based polyurethane material.

The FDA deems this material to be safe for use in these devices.
