BiPAP/VPAP/BiLevel machines provides two levels of pressure: inspiratory positive airway pressure (IPAP) and a lower expiratory positive airway pressure (EPAP) for easier exhalation. Different manufacturers use different names (like BiPAP, VPAP, BiLevel, etc) but they are basically the same thing.
